In retrospect, so much of the game feels unfinished.
Earth was rubbish. No trial.
So many of the missions were just scanning - point in case - the mission to get Elcor War Assets, I thought it would be a proper mission on the Elcor homeworld. It wasn't, all we got was some scanning. It was so much wasted potential.
Hardly any conversations with squadmates - what we had was good, but there wasn't much volume.
No use of ME2 squadmates - we should have had some as temporary squadmates
No hub worlds.
Earth Part 2 was also rubbish. I thought it'd be a suicide mission type thing but on a galactic scale. It wasn't just some battles on a horribly designed and textured "London"
And then the ending.
Would you preferred to have waited another 6 months to get more features, or have got it in March, and got what we did?
Would you have waited til November for a full game?

Another 6 months is a bit of a stretch, but if it meant more depth, sure.

Waited, obviously.
But chances are the release was rushed because they needed a boom in profit, perhaps even to fund polishing the game and creating DLC.

I would have waited another three years for a better game. I would have waited as long as it took. In fact, if Bioware right now recalled all the games, I'd gladly send them my copy and say, "Take as long as you need. I'm fine waiting. Please, just... make this right."

This one doesn't think the Earth portion was THAT bad.
But, yes.
But, yes.

Most hardcore gamers have waited months if not years for certain titles to launch. I don't see why this would have been different. What kind of amazes me is that with the huge profit they made on ME2, you'd think they could have given Bioware a bit more slack in the timeline.

Would of been hard to do but I would of managed...as long as the added more content on single player. Mp Is great but I would of liked more content in single player.

I'd have hated it, but yah, I'd have preferred waiting to the feeling of incompleteness that we got instead. I definitely would've liked more Earth time, for sure, especially since we don't get to visit it at all in ME1 & 2.

I dont mind waiting if the product is good...
Never complained by the waiting of NWN... or Dragon Age.... etc.. I TRUSTED that Bioware, unlike other companies would release the product once it was properly finished.

Without hesitation. I would have waited until the same time next year if it meant ME3 would have had a brilliant ending.

Yea, the game really did need another six months.

I would have waited, definitely. If I got the Mass Effect itch, I'd have created another Shepard and gotten even more out of ME3 when it finally released.

The game was excellent on release, If another 6 months ment they would put more effort into their ending then you ****ing bet I would wait that extra time.

Most definitely. I was actually rather surprised it came out as soon after ME2 as it did.
