I'd done an "aww" but I'd totally be down for them delaying it to get it right.
They wouldn't even have necessarily had to delay it. If they'd come out in the first place and placed the release date around 2013, or just not given it a hard release date until late in development, no one would have even thought about it.

I would have waited another few years if that's what it took. I wasn't in a hurry to be done with the series, why would I be?
Yeah the only way it makes sense is if EA plans on having then work on another big title right away. Or EA actually thinks all gamers have the attention spans of gnats and will forget about games if they don't release one a year. Which is also entirely possible.

Nope. When they continue to push games back you end up with a title like Duke Nukem Forever.
You know very few games that get pushed back are like Duke Nuke'em, right?

Now with ME3's ending totally making all my different choices and playthroughs pointless its hard to even think about putting the disc back in my Xbox.

And Diablo III.
Did Starcraft II not sell as well because of the wait? Does anyone think Diablo III is going to take a hit in sales because of the wait?
I wish EA would do what Activision does and let the company work in peace. Rushing games really doesn't help anyone.

I would have waited another three years for a better game. I would have waited as long as it took. In fact, if Bioware right now recalled all the games, I'd gladly send them my copy and say, "Take as long as you need. I'm fine waiting. Please, just... make this right."
Seconded unless someone else are seconded then thirded.

Saying that, ME3 was no Dragon Age 2- it was still a good game even if it was lacking in a few areas IMO.

Or, you know, so they could add useless Kinect support and multiplayer. Whatever. I wonder how much Microsoft paid them for that.

I'm not sure if Bioware should do a Mass Effect extended cut edition or anything along those lines.
But allowing developers to go back and tweak things, and do things that they wish they had done, but had to scrap because of time constraints is a great idea.
Instead of just add a two hour mission, or another companion. I know that's Bioware's MO. But a second pass at ME3 might be what it needs to be truely great.
