I'd have waited an extra year if it meant they could really polish it. I mean, even the journal sucks now.

Definetly would have waited.

I'm totally shocked that fans of a game unanimously prefer that said game has as many features and is as long as humanly possible even though the game was already full of features and quite long.

Absolutely. I'm always ready to wait a year or even 2 longer than originally intended as long as I can be sure the game gets awesome.

@ OP do you think Diablo 3 will sell poorly because of long development time? I don't ...

I would have had no problem with a 2013 release if it meant more content and more depth^^

I'd have waited till August at the least. And then I could have guilted someone into buying me the DLC for my birthday. It's so damn...unrefined. No spit and polish. At this point, I'd send my game back so then can repress the discs with the finished product.

Yes I would of prefered the wait. Especially if it would of lead to a better happier ending. Mass effect is one of my favourite gaming series and the end pretty much ruined it for me. Waiting to hear news from bioware on the ending is driving me crazy (ok an over statement but it's bugging me a lot). I just hope and pray they listen to the fans and do it right. I want my femshepard to have a happy ending with Kaidan. Is that to much to ask for bioware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd have waited another year if it meant a longer game that was more polished, along with a better ending. 2 years development time is too short for a game of Mass Effect's calibur.

Yes, we wait another 6 months to a year, meanwhile EA is paying all those millions of dollars in salaries and overhead. Why would they do that? Make an argument for it, but from a business stand point.

Yes, and if Bioware want to announce next month they screwed up, but need 6 months for the ending they promised us, I am fine with that. Just want to know its coming.

Assuming that Bioware released a press statement saying:
"The game is not at a state we like yet, and we need this to be absolutely awesome etc..."
I would have gladly waited...

6 months would have been a small price to pay to have a decent ending

We already waited another 4 months for it so they could add multiplayer and kinect. Happy to wait another 6 months for them to get the actual game right
ME2 had an inferior combat system but people still loved it because they got the important things right
