As much as I may hate the endings, this is still miles above ME1 and ME2, and it´s not as unfinished of a product as some say.

The last 10/15 minutes are rushed as all hell, but up to then, the game is a crowning achievement. And that´s what hurts the most. That such an incredible game has such crap endings.

And yes, I would have waited whatever amount of time necessary to get an even game, with endings that were true to the Mass Effect tradition.

After seeing how we are rushed towards the ending! with a poor storyline Hell Yeah!

So many things could have been improved to make sure its a masterpiece. Right now for me ME3 nearly kills the Franchise.

Will I bother replaying from the start and build another story, I have already 3..more then enough, will I finish them all...I doubt it now.

Sad and disappointing

I definitely would have, especially now that I've seen how much seems to have been cut around the edges. ME3 needed more time, plain and simple.

Not sure, probably, then again, while I think the ending is horrible it didn't ruin the series in the same way it did for others. But, whatever happened to the trial? Supposedly, your background supposedly counted for something, and we never saw a glimpse of the trial at all?

I was actually looking forward to the damn thing :P

would not have blinked an eye if they said they needed more time and pushed it back.

In retrospect, so much of the game feels unfinished.

Earth was rubbish. No trial.

So many of the missions were just scanning - point in case - the mission to get Elcor War Assets, I thought it would be a proper mission on the Elcor homeworld. It wasn't, all we got was some scanning. It was so much wasted potential.

Hardly any conversations with squadmates - what we had was good, but there wasn't much volume.

No use of ME2 squadmates - we should have had some as temporary squadmates

No hub worlds.

Earth Part 2 was also rubbish. I thought it'd be a suicide mission type thing but on a galactic scale. It wasn't just some battles on a horribly designed and textured "London"

And then the ending.

Would you preferred to have waited another 6 months to get more features, or have got it in March, and got what we did?

Wait let me think .... YES I would definatly have waited a whole year instead of this being rushed.

I'd like to add a resounding yes. EA needs to stop trying to push sequels out the door every other year.

All of these pretend journalists want to try to talk about setting bad precedents but they sure as hell don't do stories on the horrific practices that are crushing all that is good out of the gaming industry. i.e. EA trying rush out sequels to their popular franchises every year or every other year, Day One DLC, Locked content on disks, unfinished games being released as finished products.

Those are real issues that have been a cancer on the genre for awhile now. You want to talk about integrity? Yeah... how about looking in the mirror.

Sorry guys and gals, just more than a little put off by my fellow journalists. This whole fiasco has made me give up writing about video games and move on to focus on other pursuits. That's the only bittersweet ending that I've experienced here. lol

Nope. When they continue to push games back you end up with a title like Duke Nukem Forever.

Absolutely. I would have waited until next year to get the game we were promised. All the endings. The proper dialogue wheel in story and rpg mode. Also all the other problems with the game fixed. This game is not what was advertised.

Definitely. I would have waited for as long as it took for the devs to fully polish the game. They did a good job polishing most of the game as is... I just imagine what else they could have done if they'd had the time they needed...

As a former tester - I know how much time polishing takes. Would they have been honest and told us that it just takes longer than expected to get the game to perfection, I would have waited til next Christmas and beyond.

Unquestionably yes.

Side note: I was expecting the Earth missions to be like Tuchanka and Rannoch. Multiple blips on the map with my own choice as to where I should go first. Alas the disappointment.
