Don't worry folks, I won't give any spoilers, will just mention what you need to do. There's nothing to spoil anyway, you'll see why shortly, also the Crucible is pretty much revealed from the beginning of the game.
When you get to the final mission and when the Crucible gets working, quit the game. Just quit the game, turn off the PC/console, and start thinking about how the perfect ending or endings would be for your taste. Imagine it hard, and when you think you've got it right, stop and take a moment to enjoy it. Cherish it, remember it, and hold on to it. Congratulations, you've beat the game!
Whatever you do, just DON'T continue the game. You will be disappointed, as the games endings can be summarized as a choice between three colors, red, green or blue. That's as simple as it can be, you'll get to pick an ending based on your favourite choice of color. (Though if you are colorblind, you may be in trouble)
In any case, the ending you've hoped for and imagined, will be much better, a thousand times better compared to what's waiting for you at the end of the game, Just don't make the mistake of actually playing that last 10 minutes. I hope you'll enjoy ME3!
