April 6th is PAX, right? Until then I keep on checking the forums in some hope that we'll see some news or a leak or something. I often check the indoctrination theory threads just to give myself something to latch on to.
It's a testament to how incredible Bioware is, that I care this much.
Is the line still being held?

Holding my little patch of dirt. I haven't seen many ending supporters try to rush my position in days. I believe they are nearly out of troops.

After finishing, I just haven't felt the motivation to play any more SP or MP. Shame.

I am holding the line until new endings are released and if they are not then EA and Bioware do not get another cent of my money. I don't give money to people who lie to me.

Interviewer: [Regarding the numerous possible endings of Mass Effect 2] “Is that
same type of complexity built into the ending of Mass Effect 3?”
Hudson: “Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to
build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about
eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is
coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot
more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many
decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that
stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings,
where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got
ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and
variety in them.”
“We have a rule in our franchise that there is no canon. You as a player
decide what your story is.”

Mass Effect 3 will shake up the player's moral choices more than ever
before, even going so far as allowing the Reapers to win the battle
for Earth, according to BioWare's community representative Mike
Gamble.
In an inteview with NowGamer at Gamescom, we asked if BioWare was taking risks with Mass Effect 3's
plot, including a negative ending in which the Reapers win. Gamble simply said, "Yes". We asked him again to confirm what he had just said and he said, "Yes".

"Of course you don’t have to play multiplayer, you can choose to play

“The whole idea of Mass Effect3 is resolving all of the biggest questions, about the Protheons and
the Reapers, and being in the driver's seat to end the galaxy and all
of these big plot lines, to decide what civilizations are going to
live or die: All of these things are answered in Mass Effect 3.”

“There is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you approach the end-game. And
even in terms of the ending itself, it continues to break down to
some very large decisions. So it's not like a classic game ending
where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few things
- it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the
final moments, where it's going to be different for everyone who
plays it.”

Still here, waiting for the announcement in April.
Holding the line (just more silently than before, no need to shout, we've been promised an answer in April).
We'll see what happens then.

I'm just waiting to see what Bioware has planned in april. But until then, line holding will continue.

At this point, holding the line for me is no longer publicly denouncing the ending and batting the words of Bioware's attack dogs at IGN and such, it is my quiet promise to Bioware that they will not earn any more of my money on ME3 until the endings have more clarity, more options, and are generally expanded to appropriately fit the Mass Effect universe.
Also, thanks to this Bioware can count on me NOT preordering anything of theirs. I will wait for a few days after release, in case another fiasco like this occurs. Honestly, I thought the Mass Effect series would be the LAST to tank so hard at the end.
Well, scratch that I actually have more faith in Bethesda; particularly now. But that is neither here nor there.
I am on a college kid budget, and have so far managed to stave off debt. classes are starting to get difficult, and I can no longer afford to constantly make my opinion heard. They try to release mid-game DLC without fixing the ending, then I will silently hold the line whilst minding my own business.
I'm too busy to constantly keep up and keep shouting. Silence is not a sign of the line fading, it is a sign of the line digging in, fortifying their position.
Order has been given, "Hold the line!" The line doesn't have to be noisy, just effective and vigilant.
I will not buy any DLC, and I will make good on that. I didn't buy ANY Dragon Age 2 DLC, and unless the ending satisfactorily changes, makes another playthrough have DIFFERENT, CLEARER consequences, then they will have not have a place in my rather small budget.
What is the point in another playthrough when the end result is the same?
I hope if they do expand on/redo the ending, they also show what good the various resources do. I want to see some Elcor "walking tanks".

*musak plays* Line being held.
I'm going to wait til PAX, play some MP and if nothing happens. I'm jumping the franchise boat. Got some Skyrim mods to check out. Also, can't wait for Fallout 4, at least Bethesda add endings for the players.
