Hey everyone, I apologize if this topic was already addressed.

However was I the only one who would have loved to see this character as a romantic option in ME3? His bluntess amused me so much that I could have romanced him.

After I lost Thane, I thought to myself... well at least there is Javik. But as it turns out, Javik wasn't an option. This game did not go well for me apparently.

Anywhos, the question is: How many of you would have loved to see Javik as a romantic option in ME3?

I honestly think FemShep needs more human male romances, instead of more aliens. She has Garrus, Thane, and Liara atm. I think Vega would be a clearer choice first.

I can support Joker as LI, but also must say, Joker refusing anything with fem!Shep is okay too. Seems the joking dude has some sense for regs.
Doesn't matter he loves EDI ^^

And Javik?

Nah. He's too dark and looking forward for his own death. Basically, he's not interested.

Fixed my post - I read "Joker" instead of "Javik", Squeegee83 ^^

Statement as above: Vega & Joker work, Javik doesn't - since he's simply not interested in any romantic engagegement. All he seeks is death.

Actually, if you take him to the Citadel or talk to him about Liara, then his suicide talks on Earth are replaced. The Citadel talk replaces it with Javik contemplating moving in with the Hanar and living like a king, and the Liara talk replaces it with co-writing a book with her and retiring.

Javik only looks forward to his own death if he looks into the shard I think.

Over at the Javik thread some are interested in Javik as a romance option. :) And while he wouldn't be my first choice, I'd definitly make a new Shepard for it, despite how I feel about ME3. >.>

Not really. It wasn't the prothean part or the fact he was an alien that I thought was interesting. It was just his personality. Same thing happen with Thane. If either one of them were both human, I'd be there.

Well. NO. Sequence with memory shard: if you want him to live don't let him touch the shard. If he touches the shard all of the memories about dead friends/his race xtinction comes back and then he will commits suicide.

*shrug* Only in my first playthrough did he contemplate suicide. Every other time, it's been either "Live like a king among the hanar" or "Co-write the book about Protheans with Liara".

@ above me- Javik went through the shard on my play through where he mentions writing the book with Liara. My game might have bugged though.

Not really: thread about Javik is for some time now and there is a lot about his every possible sexy  body part (goddammit there was even about knees lol), but I guess a lot of people don't go there. Oh well. Their loss. And that link to fanfic is maybe 5-10 pages before? Anyway it's worth looking, a lot of pictures across pages ;)
