So no I expect this to be like any other panel fans kissing @ss and clapping like seals at anything they have to say.

Some friends come over to my house promising me the best time of my life. It starts out great but then right before they leave they steal all my stuff.
Now they are worried that I'm upset about my stuff being stolen and that I'm goin to bring it up. So you think I should feel bad, give them a hug, and tell them, "its ok, we'll get through this."
NO, that aint me.
Sure they worked hard to provide me with a great time but they still stole my ****. Naturally I'm upset over this and would like to confront them the first chance I get. Not going to attack them or threaten them just going to ask..."WTF were you thinking!?! I'd like you to fix this"
They broght this on themselves

In my opinion regardless of what Bioware does, even if they fix the ending they will always be tainted unless the people responsible for the terrible ending are fired. .
I think that is a bit extreme. You learn from things and move on. If you go around firing people then you just replace them with people who haven't learned the lesson.
But the problem is that Bioware appears to have learned nothing, their public statements make that very clear, they continue to say that they have no idea why people dont get the ending, but they will give us some stuff to explain to us why we are all stupid and dont understand it. Thats not the problem with the ending though the problem is that the ending is terrible writing and it has been torn apart and shown why its terrible writing by countless people.
Then we have all the stuff we are hearing that the ending was purposely not supposed to even provide closure etc, the fact of the matter is everything we are hearing from Mac and Casey is that they have NOT learned anything from this, I see no statement from either of them that doesnt make me think they will just do this all over again and until I do I see no reason to spend money on anything either of them are responsible for until I'm sure they didnt screw that up too.

Feel sorry for Bioware? They just released a blockbuster game to critically acclaimed reviews. Most people enjoyed said game and have voiced as much. Now they're going to announce what's next in store at a gaming convention. I am sorry, but feel sorry for Bioware? I no more feel sorry for them than I would for a friend who just told me they accepted a promotion at work.

Someone needs to ask which of the 16 endings their favorite was.

What's sad, is I have 4 characters I wanted to play ME3 with. After doing my traditional first-run, I don't even want to play it again. I do multiplayer because there's nothing else I can think of doing.

If that is actually what it says, then...*facepalm* they are so going to regret it. Of course, as others have said they will probably tightly control who asks questions and possibly ignore any questions about the ending save for any announcement they may or may not make. Of course, if it does turn out like they've done something like indoctrination theory and releasing an expansion pack etc that was planned all along, they'll get all the praise they like. I can't see it happening myself, but it is always a possibility and I like to reserve some hope for it nonetheless.
Either way Bioware, you have just one chance left. Just ONE. You already got given a chance/benefit of the doubt over Dragon Age 2, over the Day 1 DLC for Mass Effect 3 and over the Mass Effect novel Deception by various people (including me). For many people you're down to the last throw of the dice, especially given how you've handled this entire ending debacle in your public statements.

I hope fans lay into them. I think they are still in denial about how many people are upset, and think that it's only a small segment of the fanbase. So the more they hear about why people hate it, the more likely they will come down from their pedestal and start to understand why fans are upset.
From what's been said from them, I still feel like they haven't a clue why people are upset. It seems like they are still missing the point.

thats it in one.. they might be used to it on the net "screaming fansboys/girls" but face to face with angry customers is a different matter.

They brought this on themselves. So no, I don't feel particularly sorry for them.
Well, you still have to realize that they still are under EA's "guide", which isn't a good thing, but people need to make a living out there and there are a lot of passionate people under Bioware's name, that still proved that they poured their hearts out in the product - look at Legion and Mordin for example. If they weren't under so much pressure from EA and were free to do what they want with the product, but still came up with what we had, then yes, I'd be very angry.
It seems Bioware is heading in a direction they might not necessarily have control over.

OR...if they actually do talk about them, they'll limit the discussion to a specific segment of their hour, and you can guarantee it won't be a big one, because they're not going to want to spend the entire hour talking about the ending.
The former would cause a publicity nightmare for Bioware, so let's hope they're not stupid enough to do that, but the latter seems quite likely.

Fans are pissed at the apparant blatant lies told to them leading up to the game's release. Fans are pissed by the extremely distanced and callous treatment they have been getting from Bioware. Fans are pissed that the product they paid for didn't live up to their expectations.
All of that anger in this case boils down to choices Bioware has made. If they got sworn at, insulted, and degraded on stage I would not feel sorry for them. I'd condemn the ones doing it, but I wouldn't feel sorry for Bioware.
