i certainly don't feel sorry for bioware, because i am not sure they care about our feelings, they seems to only care about our $ , €, £... For me they delivered a bad product (and not only the ending, if you replay the game, you can see that it's not at all the same quality as the previous games... ) So no, i'm not sorry for them because i don't think they have put their best in this game, and if they did, well maybe they should look for another job because they are not as good at it than they think.

Sorry for my very bad english, i hope that it is understandable ;)

They fed us and let the speculation goes on and one with tweets and announcements only to deliver us what it is a rushed product with probably the worst ending(s) in game history (considering Hudson said something like "i'm proud because it won't be an A, B, C ending).

They should feel sorry for not living up to custumer's expectation, for failing in delivering the product (even if they're defending it I believe they were aiming higher than that) and for failing keeping the hope live through the series.

So no way I am feeling sorry for the shtstorm which is probably hitting them at the PAX even if, being a press conference, they will have EA-Paid so-called-gaming-journalist to cover their back.

Are their any videos of raging fans at PAX? Just curious. Or any videos at all?

They worked so hard to deliver us what they thought was a great product and they were probably so excited about telling us more about Mass Effect 3 at Pax, but now they're probably so sad and scared that all of their former beloved fans now hate them.
Regardless of how you feel about the ending, Bioware needs our prayers and love to support them during this tough time.  Please don't be mean to them.

I'll give Bioware neither prayers (what a meaningless thing to want to give somebody) nor love (I never loved them before, when I was a fan of their work.  Why would I love them now?  Love is an emotion I reserve for select people who have some significance in my existence beyond making video games).    I won't give them hate either for that matter.  Why would I hate them?  They're game developers who produced an inferior product.  How does this qualify them for more than my displeasure?  What I WILL give them is a delay on swearing off new Bioware games until PAX, so that they can announce what they plan to do.

If they continue their current course of relentless PR speak and inserting sly digs at the fanbase that is upset with them, then I'll simply be finished with them.  They can make do without my advocacy on their products, and without my financial contribution to their well-being.  I'm sure they'll get by.  Or maybe they won't.  Either way they won't be worth an extra second of my time if they refuse to do something substantial to fix their ineptitude regarding the endings.

Furthermore, I don't think that calling Bioware out for their flimflammery of an ending is being 'mean' to them.  They promised one thing, they delivered another.  Pointing it out and demanding what they promised to give is not being mean, it's being a responsible consumer.  I do not wish to spend my money on deception and, quite frankly, the more people that do, the more deception you'll get sold to you in the future.

They're a business, they sell a product that fell dismally short of expectations. Sorry has nothing to do with it.

This.  Not to mention that it is impossible to be mean to a company, as (contrary to what the Supreme Court may say) corporations are not people.  BioWare has no emotions.

Anyone want to bet on Bioware touching on the ending issue for a few seconds then moving on?

I don't feel sorry for Bioware because I can't believe they thought the ending was good.

Nevermind...if they fix the ending and give us some great LOTSB DLC content then I will be happy and Bioware can sleep soundly,

I'm not sure how PAX works, but I doubt that'll be an option... And I certainly hope that it isn't.

It's about time we got an explanation regarding this shambles. <_<

I'm hoping it stays civil. I think we have a very valid issue with the endings, but being down right hostile won't fix this any faster. Hostile rants also aren't great for getting one's point across, remember how people keep saying fans are angry "because there was no happy ending" when that isn't the case for the most part?
Bioware has earned our affection in the past based on how closely they've interacted with their fanbase. I hope we can all get past this but it's going to require both sides to give a little to make it work, some fixes from Bioware and some patience from us, change won't happen over night.

Not really, no. It's unfortunate that the dominant emotion of the most passionate part of their customers is rage, and it's unfortunate that a con is going to be filled with those angry fans... but that's part of the business.

Feel bad for them??? Are you serious??? They're working on some of the best video games in history, for an industry leader. It's like being an animator and getting hired to work for Warner Bros, or being an illustrator and getting asked to do Superman. There isn't one single Bioware employee who's position couldn't be filled in ten minutes by someone equally or more qualified, and they'd better freakin' know it. About the only step up from Bioware might be production leader at Pixar. Feel sorry for them. HA!!!

The event will pass quietly, because all guests will be screened before they let them in. No one will be allowed in if they have a question about the ending. Just watch.

And that's exactly why I don't feel bad for them.

If they say that they fix the ending of whatever everyones gonna cheer for them and ask tons of questions etc. They are only in trouble if they say nothing about the topic/decide to go all "artistic integrity" on people and just do nothing about it... but honestly, in that case they dont really deserve a nice time at PAX :P

There must be lots of speculation for everyone at Bioware about how things will go down at PAX But if they pull it off it will be an amazing accomplishment!

For all we know, they were planning to announce some "expanded ending" DLC all along (see, it's not post-ending, per se). Considering this convention is a month after the game's release, it is possible.

And if that's the case, I don't feel sorry for them 'cause it'll probably be well-received.

If not, well, I hope they do bring some good news on a new ending, and I hope the fans make their voices heard in a respectful way.

I'm more embarrassed for the socially inept mass of humanity that will likely go super creepy and over the top with their condemnations.

But, yeah. I hope they have free crap to pacify the neanderthals that try and drown out the sensible voices. Or, some really good news.

First thing that should appear on the projector at the BW panel is Prof. Farnsworth.
And actually have good news.

I do hope things go smoothly there, and I would hate to see what will happen to this forum if they don't talk about the endings or just say "No." At least with "No" it will be over.

No I do not feel any sympathy. If they wanted to take the "artistic integrity" route, they should have exercised it in the beginning and stood their ground if they did not have enough time to produce quality product endings as promised.

if I can go to PAX

I would approach the panel and ..

"I just have one question about Mass Effect Franchise, Don't worry its not about ending"

Bioware panel - " Okay go ahead"

I - "LOTS OF SPECULATIONS from everyone, care to explain to?"
