I've been through this game a few times now and never had this problem on earlier playthroughs. When I get to the first checkpoint and clear out Cerberus forces, I activate the elevator and a cutscene plays out where it ends with Cerberus shooting at the pod, as "planned". However, no matter what I do or how long I run around looking for enemies I might have missed, the pod still get destroyed before the cutscene ends.
I've saved and reloaded, I've restarted the mission without success.
Anyone else had this problem or got any ideas on how I should proceed?

[EDITED] After just "X'ing" through the cutscene it worked. Sorry for wasting your time.
