Stop insulting others, as I've always said, I always research everything you say about anything, you've always been proven wrong by said research and you just keep doing it without any of your own.

Which is funny, because it's actually you that's being insulting. I haven't even said anything to anyone even remotely insulting.

Exactly. I could say I'm taking you to disneyland tomorrow but if something comes up guess what we ain't going... but but you promised! did I? No. A promise is when I say.. I PROMISE you that there is multiple endings.. Your choices will matter in the end of Mass Effect 3, I can promise you that.. I don't recall Bioware ever using the word Promise.

Pretty much this.

They never PROMISED anything, therefore they never really lied.

You're right. What they did was worse.

I wouldn't focus too much on this. They actually deleted that tweet, as far as I know; probably because they still haven't definitely decided what they're going to do (Muzyka's statement is a little too close to that to make me think that the guy who wrote it for him wasn't scolded).

At any rate, Tassi is a fan of the Indoctrination Theory (duh) and has been following it since it came up, so it's natural he'd join the speculation (which, I think, is pretty cool for a Forbes editor).

... Someone doesn't know English apparently. And you just twisted your own words actually.

In any case, if I SAY I WILL DO SOMETHING, then it is logical that I will do it. You don't have to say "I PROMISE" to have what you're taken as a promise, else political debates would go a lot differently.

When you say ANYTHING it is taken at your word, so if I say I WILL GO TO THE STORE TOMORROW and something comes up and I don't make an addendum to that statement before the issue comes, I have lied. I might have have an arguably good excuse, but I still lied.

BioWare directly stated there would be CHOICE, the word you wanted to see. They also directly stated what WOULD be in the game. It is not.

Case closed, unless you want to argue English, then you can go to any college and argue the concept of conceptual agreement, and then read in the basic books every student has to read what an "agreement" means and is.

saying you will do something isn't the same as promise no matter what english you are lol. Someone doesn't know English? well, I'm pretty sure somewhere someone doesn't know English, just like someone probably doesn't know Spanish, or Japanese.

Case closed? It's a discussion not a case lol. I want to argue? you're the one who replied to me lol. Now you are giving me options, I'm well aware of my options, are you aware of yours? dwelling on the boards of a video game company you are unhappy with, seems rather unhealthy

He does think the DLC ending ( if exists) ought to be free.

And he's right, it should be, you don't pay to go see a movie an then have to pay for another session to get the last 15mins. its the same with a game, I paid for it I'm entited to the entire game, begining and ending without bullsh!t ending DLC that were most likely have to pay for, which is going to make for even more rage among the fans.

So marketing wasn't being dishonest they were simply not taking any of it seriously.

Now tell me which one is actually worse?

It's not the first tweet:

1.) "Both Casey and Ray's statements say we will release additional content to address questions, not necessarily alter anything."

2.) "I'm hearing rumours that ME3 ending is going to be changed..."
"Not changed, but we are creating new content to clarify and add closure. That's all."

You know how many variables can change between an interview and launch? a lot especially when you are owned by another company who can over rule your decisions. They cannot make statemens like "hmm sorry we lied but hmm EA said we had to do this or cut that" never going to happen.

When you learn business you will learn not to cry over 'lies' which is why contracts and agreements are made because words mean nothing

However, you are making a false statement. They promised several things, up until a week before release when they knew exactly what did and didn't make it into the game, and therefore, they lied.
They said what they said and you know exactly that the "I didn't say that/I never promised that" argument doesn't help when your girlfriend's pissed at you. On the contrary, it's bound to make her go medieval on you (we've all been there).

Therefore, I hope BioWare stops ****ting us and comes clean because ignoring what you said will also make the girlfriend explode, sooner rather than later, and it's nasty situations like that that make her make you pack your stuff and get out.

Actually that's not true.

A lot of law suits have been successful or settled because of a verbal agreement insinuating a verbal contract. Hell SHAKING SOMEONE'S HAND can be seen as legally binding in a verbal or considered contract.

PEOPLE HAVE GONE TO PRISON FOR VIOLATING THEM.

Yeah, I know. And the same with that Facebook message they deleted in which they announced that they weren't gonna change anything at all, not even clarify (if I remember correctly - the details of this whole mess are starting to blend together into one gigantic sh*tstorm...

See my previous post for an adequate analogy. :P

However, you should also learn in business not to make lies when what you said can be used against you. Like in an interview or forum as proof of their deceit.

From Casey Hudson Interview:
http://www.vg247.com...ns-says-hudson/

“There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets?”

“Mass Effect 3 is all about answering all the biggest questions in the lore, learning about the mysteries and the Protheans and the Reapers, being able to decide for yourself how all of these things come to an end.”

“Every decision you've made will impact how things go. The player's also the architect of what happens."

“You'll get answers to everything. That was one of the key things. Regardless of how we did everything, we had to say, yes, we're going to provide some answers to these people.”

It depends on when these things were said. If they were early in production then they might have been true at the time as these things are subject to change, but if they kept saying these things after the game went gold then there's really no excuse for it.

Well in that case there should've been a contract signed by them that my choices mattered before I put over 60 bucks on the game for that very reason.
