He most certainly does! He avoids facts that proves him wrong and acts like they were never said, thats two more things right there!

As for what the internet is... since I spend real time on it, and have to actually eat and nourish myself to still live while using the internet, and put my thoughts and words on it and am realistically typing... it is part of "real life", it isn't a fantasy world, actions have consequences.

In order to pull something like this off, they needed to have an incredible ending for the game as released. A cliffhanger or some foreshadowing of more to come, sure, but it needed to be satisfying and conclusive on its own.

They failed. Even so, I think if this were actually their plan all along, they should have just said so upfront. Now they're stuck in the box they created for themselves.

Except there is less content, and it makes even less sense in the game than it did on paper.

Honestly, it's great to see gaming issues covered by folks with some idea what the words "journalistic integrity" mean. I've known that most game-related publications were fundamentally broken since Nintendo Power gave Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team/ Blue Rescue Team a 9/10.

Also, I'm probably not looking hard enough, but I've yet to see a concrete, convincing argument that Bioware did not falsely advertise ME3 which doesn't quickly devolve into petty insults and deflection. >.<

They couldn't admit it up front.  Weeks after they made the decision to make the real ending DLC,  they started getting roasted for all of the Day 1 DLC,  including a key character.  Major sites started running pieces on it,  and then got hundreds of pages in threads about it.

Even if they admitted the plan,  they were going to get an epic firestorm,  probably worse.  Now they'll pretend it wasn't always the plan,  and a few people will believe them (Who knows why at this point).  In about 2 to 5 years,  after the dust has settled and EA's assets were auctioned off,  we'll be reading articles telling us the real story.

Personally,  I think it'll be two years or less.  EA's pretty much done at this point,  I doubt they're capable of regaining trust or loyalty at this point.  Pretty sure they're largely written off by most now.

It didnt.

If you let some people die in ME2 you got 50 war assets less and that's it.
If Wrex dies it doesnt matter because the Krogan die in the Sol system anyways.
The ending was emotional indeed - the emotion being rage and disappointment.

Hypocritical?  Wow, I didn't realise that having standards and expectations from a previously A+ game developer was hypocrisy!  Thanks for educating us!

Newsflash: If no-one complained about poor quality, poor quality is ALL we'd ever get from anything.  The only reason companies give quality at all is because they know that they rely on consumers to buy their product.  And if they ****** off their customers, they stop making money.

Simple as.  And honestly, expecting a quality product from Bioware SHOULDN'T BE SHOCKING!  Its what they've been known for for a while - and to suddenly stop caring?  Its a bad omen for times to come.  And if you roll over and accept it, you're basically asking for more of the same.
