On someone's recommendation I'm posting this here after having posted it on Mass Effect 3 General Discussion:
This might be confusing so bear with me.
I have played at beaten Mass Effect 3. I bought the Collector's Edition new and I have activated my Online Pass.
I have playd quite a bit of multiplayer and have promoted a level 20 Vanguard and am currently at a level 16 Infiltrator.
My problem is that my Galactic readiness has not changed from 50%.
No matter how much multiplayer I play, it never goes up. I can't see the Galaxy at War Map, there is only a message that says "System Offline: Unable to retieve Galaxy at War status".
Keep in mind, I have activated the online pass from my collector's edition and I have been playing multiplayer.
I get the impression from reading up on it that I am supposed to be able to see the Galaxy at War map with little percentages of readiness for each Theatre of War. I cannot see this. It does not show up.
Is this a glitch? Should I be able to see something on the Glaxy at War map? Can anyone help me with this?
A problem with my Galaxy at War map

It seems like a glitch. I know usually at the title screen and even in the single player (at the war terminal hit X? to see the percentages) and usually you would see how your "Galactic readiness (multiplayer %) is doing. Usually wins or losses would get it up to 100%. Why it's still 50% when you (from how your statement sounds) should actually be at 100% for all of the zones you played on multiplayer. the "System Offline: Unable to retieve Galaxy at War status". sounds like it's something going on on BIOWARES thing over to you for some random reason.

Update: So I spent a little over an hour on EA's online help chat trying to get the problem solved.
I cleared my Xbox's cache as instructed, rebooted my Xbox and launched the game again. I then downloaded the update for the game when prompted (clearing your cache deletes game updates fyi). This didn't work for me and my problem persisted, but if you're having the same problem give it a try. Maybe it will work? I don't know.
We (the EA help tech and I) then checked my online connectivity. Everything seemed good.
He recommended launching the game without any save games present. However to do this I need to back up my current save files on another storage device which I haven't been able to do yet.
I'll post when I try this fix and we'll see if it works.
Uriiel: Do you by chance have the N7 Collector's Edition? Out of curiosity.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone else have a possible fix?

Found the forum post with the fix! Took some searching but I got it:

I'll check to see if it worked when I get home tonight.
