She kills herself if you let Legion go through with the upload, yes. She argues against the upload, but she never takes action to stop it. She waits until the fleet is destroyed, takes off her mask, and jumps (you can paragon try to catch her, but she falls anyway).LadyofRivendell wrote...
Tali jumps off a cliff? That's... extreme.
I do see your point, though. He (Wrex) places priority for his people far above priority for Shepard. If I tripped and fell off a cliff at the same time as Eve, I have no doubt he'd dive to save her instead of me, purely out of instinct.

For example for my main Shep, no matter what game claims it would be naive to expect Jacob or James to stay loyal to him. He doesn't like them and probably feeling is mutual.
Most loyal members for my Shepard:
Miranda, Liara, Kaidan, Mordin, Thane, Jack and Tali. (Garrus is dead on his main save >.> )
Least loyal:
Jacob, James and Zaeed.

I can't see Jack betraying Shepard. I feel like Jack truly appreciates the friendship she has with Shepard and Shep has done a lot for her in ME2. Jack has got to be one of the most loyal. On Earth, when you get to the coms to talk to your ME2 crew in the final battle you can see that Jack was really worried for Shepard..
Also she is the only one who send to Shepard "be careful" through datapad to you before final battle.

VS: Calls you a traitor, and doubts you three times in a single mission (Mars).
Zaeed: He just followed the money in ME2. And in ME3 i think he just fears Shepard.
Morinth: She's a succubus.
Now, there's an unexpeted loyal, Miranda. Even an unloyal Miranda will support Shepard to destroy the CB, even going against her own boss, the man she followed for 20 years.
And btw, only two squadmates have raised a gun against Shepard, Wrex and the VS.
As for my Shepard, his most loyal people are: Miranda, Jack, Legion, Mordin, Garrus and Thane.

I can see how some think the VS is not loyal due to how they act in ME2 and the first part of 3 but they are willing to step aside and let you kill a council member.
I think the VS is the most varying character, depending on how you play your Shepard.

The most disloyal? Kaidan (that stupid little sh!t, all that talk about trusting and loyalty and ALWAYS its him to point a gun at Shep or to b!tch at her how disloyal she is)

Most disloyal is absolutely Javik, due to his very extremely special case. And he's now surrounded by primitives for gods sake

I'd have to say Garrus is the most loyal. Not only does he stand by Shepard, without hesitation, but he's more accepting of either outcome of his loyalty mission.
I do truly hate the whole 'Garrus & Tali are the only ones to stick with Shepard throughout all three games' argument - because the writers are the one(s) to thank/blame for that IMHO.
I still think it had to do more with the fact anyone of them could be dead - is why Wrex & the VS were limited in their ME2 roles/appearances, rather than 'saving' them for ME3. (a lot less work involved) This, of course, is just a personal opinion - nothing more.

As for disloyal, well not necessarily disloyal, just not very loyal - Zaeed, maybe Kasumi, as they don't really get to develop relationships at all.

I mean Anderson was going to use the Normandy his personal mobile C3 ship. Insted decides to hand it over to Shep "at the last minute" While the VS is standing right next to you. Admiral Hackett who is in control of the entire Navy trusts Shep.

Miranda is not loyal towards Shepard till the end of ME2. She's a Cerberus operative and works for TIM.
Zaeed is not loyal at all. He might respect Shepard, but works only for him since he got paid. You can see his disloyalty when he did his own deal on his loyalty mission - disobeying Shepard's direct orders is pretty much disloyal, right.
Now the VS. Keep in mind the VS is an Alliance officer. Ash & Kaidan are loyal towards the Alliance and as long as Shepard was an officer of said organization, everything was okay. Now Shepard returns in ME2, working for Cerberus, a known terrorist organization. I dunno, if your former CO returns in the enemy's colors, you won't follow him or her blindly. You would question your ex-CO.
The VS returns being loyal towards Shepard in ME3 as soon as things get sorted out: it begins already on Mars and gets finished at the Udina event - beyond that point, the VS is loyal towards Shepard again. The VS NEVER got disloyal towards the Alliance!
There are at least two characters who're outstandingly loyal towards Shepard: Liara and Garrus. Tali counts here too I guess, although for her, the Flotilla comes first.
Wrex follows Shepard as long as he can respect him as warrior and friend. Betraying Wrex will earn you a lot of anger - and even death. Loyalty beyond reasonable means is ... not the smartest thing.
Should keep that in mind.
Easy. The VS is just a lower rank officer. Trusting Shepard who's working / was working for a known terrorist organization might easily end their career.Nightdragon8 wrote...

that, Admiral Hackett and Admiral Anderson, trust Shep, so why isn't
the VS trusting Shep also? And questioning every move you make.

Hackett on the other hand may have some connections to Cerberus - actually, it's hinted at least once in the game. And Anderson trusts Shepard since he's the one who knows Shepard the longest - being his mentor and fatherfigure.

Garrus
Liara
Loyal:
Miranda (she tells TIM where to stick his job but that just means she's realised he's evil not that she's necessarily loyal, though I believe she is)
Wrex (he allowed you to destroy a genophage cure on Virmire, that's trust)
Tali (The fleet comes first)
Thane
EDI
Grunt
Neutral:
Mordin
Jacob
Jack
Vega
Samara
Javik
Disloyal:
Kaidan
Ashley
Zaeed
Kasumi
Legion (The Geth are definitely his priority, friendly and helpful but not loyal)

Technically, the VS only varies his/her loyalty towards Shepard depending on actions and the Cerberus stuff - but s/he is absolutely loyal towards the Alliance.
I don't feel offended 'cause of that ... loyalty, trust and respect are things you have to earn.

Most disloyal would have to be Zaeed... he's just there for money, doesn't really even care who wins.

I think Liara always has been and always will be most loyal. I know trashing Liara seems to be the cool thing to do around here, calling her a creepy stalker and what not.. but I just don't see it. She is Shepard's best and most loyal friend.

True.
The "creepy" part isn't even Liara's fault - it's a writer's issue: despite the claim "player's choices matter", you can't reject Liara as friend. Since everyone RPs his/her Shepard differently, a lot of guys play Shepard in a way where Liara isn't a friend. For those guys, Liara feels "stalkerish".
So it's all about RPing. I don't wanna be an ass to Liara in the series, but would enjoy a far more professional relationship with her. Especially if my Shep goes after another LI. Garrus' friendship feels more natural, tbh.

Exactly. For me lack of option to reject her friendship was disappointing.
