With the exception of Zaeed and Kasumi, everyone eventually becomes extremely loyal. Of course if you are about to ruin their race they'll hate you, but in that case you're backstabbing them, not the other way around.
Which crew member is most loyal/disloyal to Shepard?

Garrus and Liara is probably the most loyal to Shepard( in my game atleast) I always felt that Kaidan would stabb me in the back

Question is..."Why are they loyal in the first place?" Then I point to...how many times do they say things like "right behind you" or "I'll walk into hell with you"? So my top four picks: Garrus, Liara, Joker, and Dr. Chakwas. I'll just explain the squaddies because it can easily extend to an essay...
Garrus because (esp. romanced) he'll constantly say things like that, and prove it especially when my FemShep's running and gunning. Can't count how many times I've sighed, "Thank God for Garrus!" because I didn't want to replay the last 20 minutes of a boss battle. I truly feel that he's in synch with Shep when it comes to how much he wants the Reapers gone. He did everything he could to address it, especially when Shep's landlocked. It reminds me of the scene where FemShep wakes up from her last nightmare and she sees him chilling out at the desk with her(?) datapad. I'd like to think that he took some of her workload. How many of your friends have done things for you like that? Bet it was the ones you'd rank "most loyal". Plus if Shep's romanced him he's probably thought the whole 6 months about how to do the reunion thing. Or at the very least he's hoped to see Shep again. I think that's cute. And loyal. Because obviously Shep's the first thing on his mind.
I took out Tali and Wrex because, well, they've got their own problems. Not that it's bad or it'd be detrimental to how you feel with them. It's like...you invite them a really important event. Garrus will make sure he's there. In fact he'll help you plan it. Like even if his mom died the week before but he'll still put aside his feelings for your benefit. I just can't see Tali or Wrex doing that. It's because they are more focused on the well-being of their people (for good reason too). Not that it's a bad thing...and it's great that they want to do that, but Garrus doesn't let it get in the way. Balls of steel. (I think turians have them, right? Thinking about that asari kneeing that turian in the nads...)
And speak ing about asai, Liara because she's studied the Protheans long enough to understand that your priorty (defeating the Reapers) is just as much as her priorty. She gives you a heapful of trust from ME1 and continues, esp. when dealing with her mom and such. Like Garrus you share the same goals and same priorities. Even when her homeworld is wrecked it gives her more resolve to help Shep. The fact that she went through all that trouble to retrieve Shep's body and to not peep a word of it until you directly ask her...dang. She's got such a humility to her that I can't help but love her for it. Plus I believe that she's asked about Shep's well-being more than anyone else. Or at least expresses it the most IMHO.
