As the title says, "Why are you still here?"
Many of you have come to the conclusion that because of the ending of Mass Effect 3, you will never purchase another product from Bioware. So is there a legit reason for spamming the forums with your comlaining? Why don't you just leave? It's very clear to me that you're done with Bioware, so why stay on their site? You're torturing yourself, and you're cluttering the forums with things we've heard from hundreds of others already. Yeah, we get it. You hated the ending. Many people did. You're just saying what's already been said. Nobody is going to look at you as a prophet because you pointed out some plot holes. Simply because, as I said, it's already been said.
I mean no disrespect towards anyone here of course. I'll admit that my post has a certain... Tone, to it. But that's simple annoyance by the lack of diverse topics going on in these forums lately.
So please just explain, what is your reason for staying on BSN? Keep it friendly guys.
So... Why Are You Still Here?

I am still undecided about my course of action at this point in time. Even if I was certain I would never buy another Bioware product, I still feel the need to support my comrades in the retake movement. That and I still want closure for the products that I have already bought.

because we are waiting for the april announcement, pr at least i am. they made a mistake, its only right to give them the opportunity to answer for it. they picked the date, so i am waiting.
just because im done with bioware doesnt mean i stopped caring about mass effect.

I think many of us are still holding out for a 'fix'. If not, it's a good place to complain, considering there are many like minded people here.
I agree with you though. I'd like some more discussion about something other than the ending. More diverse topics have been popping up lately, luckily.

I'm excited at what content Bioware might reveal next. News would hit here first.

I'm here to Hold the Line.
My fervent hope is that Bioware will address this matter in a manner befitting us as players and them as good writers so that they are not deprived of me as a customer, and I am not deprived of them as a source of quality entertainment.

I never planned to leave. Yes the endings are lame, but I still enjoyed the series too much to dismiss it all on some really faulty endings. 15 BAD minutes doesn't undo 40 hours of gameplay for me. Mainly I'm gonna stick around to keep up with DLC announcements and news.

The alternative would be to find a job, and that is just to hideous of an option to consider.

My question is why not?, it's a private forum that's accessible to the public, and obviously many of us hope to have our faith in Bioware restored.

Mostly because I want to believe.
Bioware have said they will do "something" ... so for now I'm waiting to see what.
Also I'm not about to blanketly rule out ever buying another Bioware product - when they do it right, they do it exceptionally well...therefore I've decided to adopt the wait and see position on all future games from them (as in wait and see what the fan reactions are before purchasing).

Because I love the Mass Effect series and am hoping that Bioware lives up to their design philosophy of "the fans are the co-authors".

I think a lot of that "never buy another Bioware game" crud is a lot like the "preorder cancelled" response that seemed like half the responses on the board. Now, as much as it annoys me that it's now a empty statement for a person to make when so many others say it and don't mean it, it annoys me more when people ask why they or anyone would still be here.
It's like how all the tali haters and anti tali haters, the ending haters and lovers, everyone comes here to share their view and sometimes vent. Expecting others to stop responding when trumped will only aggrivate you for their lack of reasoning, and, well... anyone else who doesn't automatically ignore it.

I just have one last sliver of hope left for Bioware. If it doesn't pan out, I will never be back on the BSN.
I just hope they can pull through.
