Because I think that the ending wasn't that bad and I never said I will still buy Bioware products. The ending wasn't the greatest, but use your imagination for christsake.

I did my immagination says that I pulled a halo on the unniverse. That is what is ammounts to me its like the Halos firing everyone died. All sentient life and possibly all life is dead. Or at least all but simple life on maybee the odd planet on the very end of the galaxy arms or something where the explosions would not touch.

Will some of the primitive life evolve sure but they will find a pretty lifeless galaxy when they start exploring it.

Because I still have hope that Bioware will change the endings for the better. Only when all lights are out about ME3, then I'm gone.

A game touted as the "End of a trilogy" should not rely on it's fans to fill in all the huge gaping plot holes and make their own closure with characters..... Makes me Appreciate MGS4 even more then I already did, I can tell you that much.

I'm waiting to see what they'll come up with, plus there's still a lot of cool dudes and dudettes here, it was a good environment to relax in - not so much now, but we'll see.

I'm still here because I'm not yet convinced that the story is done yet.  In this case, I'm not talking about the story told by the game so much as the story about the reaction to the game.  I stop by the forums once or twice a day to check and see what's going on, and whether anything new has developed.

In the long run, if Bioware never addresses the ending to my satisfaction, I expect I'll be pretty unlikely to pre-order any future Bioware games, and there's a good chance I won't buy them at all until I can get them on sale for under ten bucks.  I already did this with DA2, because the turnaround time on that game was so short I was highly sceptical.  I trusted them with ME3, and got burned, so I probably won't trust them again.  Unless they fix it.

There is still time to fix this reputation problem.  Look at what Stardock did after the disaster that was Elemental: War of Magic.  They acknowledged they'd laid an egg, and promised they'd do what it took to make it right, even if that meant taking a loss on some significant extra development costs.  While I'm not quite as quick to assume high quality for a Stardock game as I used to be, I have faith that the company respects their customers and will try to do right by them, even if it's at the expense of short-term profit for the company.

In the long run, I believe that developers will live and die based on their reputations.  A short-term financial loss to salvage your reputation can be a long-term financial gain.  I'll stick around a while longer to see if Bioware agrees with me.

We're all still here because Bioware used to have a great reputation; we're hoping they'll make good on that reputation and deliver the product they advertised.  The more time that passes, the more people will drift away, and permanently give up on Bioware as a top-notch developer.  I haven't gotten to that point yet; if they don't announce something substantive in April, I'll probably give up on them, and find some other studio to give my money to.  Lots of interesting stuff on Kickstarter these days...

Still hoping for Bioware to announce they'll fix ME3 endings.

Plus, paying respect to great characters of ME trilogy.

Still waiting for closure. Or maybe an ending that makes a lick of sense. Or at least follows the basic lore provided to us. Or more than one ending that you get railroaded into without choice or explanation. Or a chance to B****-slap space god kid around and go out in a blaze of self satisfaction.

you mean still in the forums? Well I do play multiplayer still and I come back in to see if there are any updated from Bioware about what they are going to do to appease the fans that they have disrespected with this ending, even though I know it is not completely Bioware's fault.

As the title says, "Why are you still here?"

Many of you have come to the conclusion that because of the ending of Mass Effect 3, you will never purchase another product from Bioware. So is there a legit reason for spamming the forums with your comlaining? Why don't you just leave? It's very clear to me that you're done with Bioware, so why stay on their site? You're torturing yourself, and you're cluttering the forums with things we've heard from hundreds of others already. Yeah, we get it. You hated the ending. Many people did. You're just saying what's already been said. Nobody is going to look at you as a prophet because you pointed out some plot holes. Simply because, as I said, it's already been said.

I mean no disrespect towards anyone here of course. I'll admit that my post has a certain... Tone, to it. But that's simple annoyance by the lack of diverse topics going on in these forums lately.

So please just explain, what is your reason for staying on BSN? Keep it friendly guys.

Well, given that only 4% of dissatisfied customers complain, and you have over 60k negative responses to the ending poll on BSN now, BW has roughly a potential 1.5 million disgruntled ME3 customers. (look at TARP studies on customer service if you question this 4% number)

GIven that 50% of customers will not do business with a company again if a given complaint takes longer than 1 week to resolve (2011 customer experience impact report),  you have potentially lost 750k customers at this point.

I'm here because I'm still hoping that something will turn this situation around and save the one game developer that I've unquestioningly supported (prior to ME3) since the mid-'90s. I'm here because I refuse to be a silent, lost customer.

Insanity, Hope, Redemption.

I still have to do my Insanity run, so I'm still here to get an idea on tips and tricks for the battles. I hope they will give us better endings and redeem themselves for the debacle.

I carry a hope that Bioware would either release a patch or DLC that would improve the ending.

I like hearing others opinions (good and bad..my opinion of their opinions lol). I like a place to go where I can get game tips and strategy and hang out (electronically) with others that love the games as much as I do and I have to assume, most people here did/do love the games, at least up until the last 10-15 minute disaster that everyone so is upset over. I still can find a few threads that talk about the game or some other aspects of the game. Plus, I want to see how this whole thing plays out.

Answers in Haiku form:

I was quite surprised; if there's going to be more; I would like to know

The god makes his points, brief and contradictory; please elaborate.

Joker flies away; why was he at the relay?; hope the food is good.

Indoctrination; real or just an illusion?; I'm not that convinced.

I have not complained; though a lot is left unclear; what will they do next?

90 percent gold; 10 percent questionable; still worthwhile to me.

It is a fair question OP. I've asked myself the same question. I actually rarely posted on this forum before me3 came out but since it did I feel I have a lot to say.

Bioware made some of my favourite video games. When they continually brought out good games, I would just buy those games play them, feel happy and move on to doing something else.

I really want them to get back to making games of the quality I'm used to. This forum is as good a way of voicing oppinions to the people who matter on the games they make, by virtue of being able to post here the Bioware and EA know we spend money on their products.

I am taking bioware on their word that fan feedback matters and providing that feedback.

I don't want to stop buying bioware games, I want to give them my money but they need to keep their side of the bargain and make games of the quality that I am used to. The last two have been a let down.

The fact that something has been said allready doesn't mean it isn't worth saying. I hope the sheer weight of negative feedback regarding the bad parts of Me3 (and also Da2) gets through to bioware, the statments coming out don't suggest that they have quite taken the message on board yet.

So as long as it's in a consructive way I'll keep telling bioware what they are doing wrong, but also what they are doing and have done right. With any luck it might help get my favourite games developer back to making the quality of games that they are capable of.

My current frustration with bioware is not that they suddenly make terrible games, but that they seem to be getting so close to briliance and then making bad decisions during the development, ignoring the events of the game when scripting endings of their last 2 games, re-using dungeons in Da2 and so forth.

In short it's my passion for bioware games keeping me here combined with frustration at the shortcomings of their recent output.
