I stay because I still have hope that bioWare will pull something out of their ass and fix this. I am also seriously thinking about quitting SWTOR because of this and if they dont have or see an ending or a resolution I am happy with I will walk away from everything this company does, but till then I have hope....

OT: er i guess im still here because im hoping and praying that bioware will use space magic of some sorts to create something via DLC that we can all approve of or atleast as partially satisfying.

Part grieving, part holding out for a solution I know will never come.

In all honesty, this will probably be my last BioWare game, and I will probably stop posting in the coming months.

Well it's easy to give up, I've elected not to. Sure the ending sucked, but it doesn't have to stay that way.

I am here to keep the pressure on Bioware.

The moment the customer pressure backs down, the whole event will be covered up and dismissed. Then nothing will be done about the problem with the conclusion of the series.

Sure the pressure could be applied in different methods and forms, but the BSN is one of the most direct/convenient.

BSN is one of my Mass Effect support groups. Plus I enjoy talking, making funny, and complaining with other people on the internet. I still hope the ending will be changed to something better, also.

I'm here just so when all of this goes down I can say I was here, I did my best, and I made my suggestions in the most civil manner possible.

The "being civil now" card is the "get out of the blazing inferno" card later.

Definitely agree with keeping up the pressure.  We haven't been told anything beyond, "wait for April" which was likely said in the hopes that this would die down.  Then they can turn around and point out that it was just a temporary reaction and people came around.

They'll be making an announcement in April regarding the ending. I'll keep reminding them about how bad the current ending is until then. If they don't give a satisfactory response by then, you won't see me around here any more.

I heard punch and pie.

'Cause more people will show up if you have punch and pie.

But there was none to be had.

Hope. That, and trying to find a thread every few days that doesn't have to. do with the ending.

Been playing Bioware since Baldur's Gate...hoping to keep that record going.

Holding the line

I still have some kind of small hope that they might fix all of this or that we might be able to convince them to. Even if it is a false hope.

Failing that I'll continue to vent my frustration for my own catharsis until it's far enough in the past that I don't give a damn anymore and break off all ties like I did when EA murdered Command & Conquer.

Remember the Occupy Movement? It wasn't a one-day affair, and then people wen't home like "good thing I got THAT off my chest!" People stay, people protest. If people stop, it might send the wrong message. Granted, everything that could possibly be said has already been said; but that's not the point. The point is awareness. Maybe some people just beat the game and came here to express their views. They haven't been paying attention to the numbers of posts in the last few weeks.

Why am I still here? To argue, debate, and discuss. Why are you here? To complain about other people complaining? If you want to see a more diverse set of topics, maybe you should start a thread with an actual purpose. There are several popular ones right now, regarding things like LI's, least fav/most fav characters, "shep v. harbinger v. marauder shields: who would win?" Feel free to peruse any of these.

My question is why not?, it's a private forum that's accessible to the public, and obviously many of us hope to have our faith in Bioware restored.

Yep.

For about a month on every major IP release from Bioware I tend to the forums that re the BSN. Not because it's interesting by any means, but because someway somehow there is always mass amounts of crying going on.

Personally, I am still here because A) it's a good place to get the latest gossip, and B) there are a couple of posters who have opinions I find interesting, and I like to read what they have to say.

I haven't given up all hope, but I'm pessimistic. I am waiting to see what Bioware decides to do in terms of fixing the game story.

Because I am hoping to turn this travesty around before I give up on them.... That is how much I CARE....

If people would act like you said, nothing in the world would ever get fixed .. '' Oh it is bad ? No need to edit just give up. '' or '' It is broken ? Meh , why bother fixing it ''....

And we also invested quite a lot for BW games only to leave it all behind with a complaint ? Personally, I am gonna ask a similar question.

If you liked the ending , why would you care others who didn't and go on to their threads to 'prove them wrong' ? If you liked it , that means you got your closure and you can move on. Doing the opposite would be irrational.

Thing is, we love BW...and we don't want to see it becoming another Faceless mainstream company who milk their previously successful titles . We want to show them that when they put in the effort , there are people who appriciate it but when they take a wrong turn , we will also be here to tell them.

Do you want Bioware to be another Faceless brand under EA ? who dish out games like COD ? Or you would prefer them to actually return to their roots and deliver games like DA:O again ? That will be your answer about BW and yourself as a customer.

Many of you have come to the conclusion that because of the ending of Mass Effect 3, you will never purchase another product from Bioware. So is there a legit reason for spamming the forums with your comlaining? Why don't you just leave? It's very clear to me that you're done with Bioware, so why stay on their site? You're torturing yourself, and you're cluttering the forums with things we've heard from hundreds of others already. Yeah, we get it. You hated the ending. Many people did. You're just saying what's already been said. Nobody is going to look at you as a prophet because you pointed out some plot holes. Simply because, as I said, it's already been said.

I mean no disrespect towards anyone here of course. I'll admit that my post has a certain... Tone, to it. But that's simple annoyance by the lack of diverse topics going on in these forums lately.

So please just explain, what is your reason for staying on BSN? Keep it friendly guys.

Because I love and care deeply about the Mass Effect story, Shepard,LI and friends :wizard: I dont want to see Bioware screw it up.

So like any fan I will get grumpy, cry, and support what ever Bioware does. But I wont quit fighting for Shepard and his/her story or give myself a tumor raging about it.

Just for the record I never said I wouldnt buy another Bioware product:blink: That's kinda extreme.

Still here to see the announcement coming, also because I love looking at the indoc threads.

Also I'd just like to say that I was never going to leave, and never threatened to boycott BW. Yes the ending blows but I've loved every second in the trilogy up until those last few minutes. Same goes for my experience with any other BW game kotor and on (never got to play the ones before). They make great games and probably will continue to do so in the future.

However I'd freaking love them if they stopped the artistic integrity thing and write an ending that wasn't so odd.
