I hope they fix this utterly disgusting mess of an ending. Otherwise yes, I am through.
So... Why Are You Still Here?

I have not sworn off Bioware completely, and I don't plan to, but for the Mass Effect series I might (depending on what happens in April).
I am holding the line, and hoping for Mass Effect to be redeemed.
ALSO, it's like therapy for me (I can't speak for others). I have been feeling this throbbing annoyance in my chest since I finished ME3 and it hasn't subsided. So, for as long as I am being bothered by my experience with ME3, I am going to come here to post my responses to help me work through the ending and how I can support the cause that is trying to redeem it.

I am sticking around because I want to see the real impact of RTM:
1. I want to see how PAX goes.
2. I want to see how the ME3 sales turn out.
3. I want to see how SWTOR subs turn out.
Truth is, we might indeed be the minority in the large sceme of things. If that is the case, it will be time to move on because we will not be able to change things.

I'm still here because I care deeply about Mass Effect and it's universe.
I was utterly devastated by the way they decided to conclude this story.
I check these forums daily along with /r/masseffect in hope of finding some sort of solace for this fiction that I have grown to love over the years. I'm still hopeful that Bioware can redeem itself.
After seeing the way SWTOR was pushed out early with close to zero end-game content and several features yet to be implemented (patch 1.2) and now this sad joke of a conclusion for ME3... I'm really dissapointed how the rEApers have repurposed Bioware into pushing out incomplete titles for the sake of money.
The only reason people are still complaining on here is simply because Bioware won't commit to an official position on the endings. They simply have to address it and stop deflecting the subject when asked about it. The last few statements have been incredibly evasive and it's not helping the disgruntled fan-base. I want to continue to support Bioware...it just seem they don't actually care anymore.

The mass effect franchise rocks. Honestly one of the best IPs ever. I even liked the endings, though they did make me sad and even a bit upset.
And I would like additional alternative endings. Current endings? Fine. Alternate endings? Yes please.
Im here because i dig the games and want to see more. And i think bioware can fulfill that. They can do that. So im doing what i can to see it get done.
Plus: Hey! This community rocks. I like hanging with all you fine folks, its been fun. But we do have an agenda too...mine is to politefully and smartly ask for additonal endings and keep up with the community's agendas too.

Keep the pressure on Bioware/EA. It is the reason I stay here. If they dare sell an incomplete game for USD 60 then they should have a guts to admit the ending is not fit for ME universe. The galaxy has to be reset every 50,000 years? This is not the Matrix. And, they spend two years to copy the Matrix?

I'm still here form time to to time to keep up with the front page. Mostly the opinion stuff. I still love BioWare, even with their flaws. DA2's change of idrection and ME3's ending won't change that. Their best game is still Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because we are waiting for the april announcement, pr at least i am. they made a mistake, its only right to give them the opportunity to answer for it. they picked the date, so i am waiting.
This sums up my reason for still being here.

As of right now, there's still the possibility they'll change it. If they answer "we're not changing it and that's final" then I'll find something else to do. Until then though, they're still "listening" and I'll keep shouting so they know I'm here.

I'm not leaving until I find out what will happen, after that and if we get what we want I will leave because no matter what happens BioWare has shown that it cannot be trusted and that it will keep its promises or produce quality games like the ones they did before.

Makes the kick in the nuts from the ending tolerable.
While I have very little hope that BW will actually do anything, I do support the voices that want a change. So I do what little I can to help in that regard. "Ignore the fans at your own peril" I say.

I keep hoping to find a statement from Bioware that is clear & concise, that they intend to fix the end of ME3 & directly address/change the many concerns dedicated fans had w/ the sloppy ending they slapped onto the game at release. I hold out hope. Perhaps they think we'll eventually lose our fire - and they're right, at least for me. On a long enough timeline, I will stop caring.
They really shouldn't want that to happen, though. I'll walk away from caring about BioWare's games altogether, and never look back. I've done it to other game companies before.
So here's to hoping they announce something before I bid them farewell. I really hope that doesn't happen.
