Because I enjoy 99% of the game.

And I'm waiting for what BW will do with the 1% abomination.

To the OP:

I am lurking these forums, not because I am done with Bioware. I want Bioware to think about what they done to their fans and make amends.

It is like a good friend who strayed onto the wrong path and you try with all your might to bring him/her back. Be it with anger, saddnes, pleading, persuasion.
In the end that is all I can do, what Bioware does after that is their decision and I will have to accept it and make my own decisions and actions from that.

Well still free to post here for now and curious to see how they will not fix the ending. What can I say this is like a 100 car pile up it is just horrible to look at and watch as it happens. In the end I just can not look away I just got to watch :P

I don't know. I am asking the same question myself everytime I browse the forum. They already have my money the couldn't care less for the players.

Funny question - while our brothers in the East were still locked up behind the wall, we had a saying in Germany. It was "Wenn's Dir nicht passt, dann geh doch nach drüben" ("If you don't like that, just go over there"), and was used in particular when people did not want to be bothered by critique of the status quo.
Somehow your post reminded me of that saying.

I guess many are here because the ending makes so little sense that confusion and frustration create an immediate urge for discussion. Personally, I have only moderate hope that they will really fix this issues, but I really would like to understand why this disaster happened.

I was asked to turn out the lights after everyone else left.

But seriously, I'm a believer in working for change rather than accepting being handed a crap situation, shrugging and counting myself as *not* counting. It's my time and money after all.

Personally it's because I want to see exactly how this plays out and hoping that there's a slim chance that Bioware will do something (not create the endings they promised, that would take far too much time, money, and effort) that can rekindle the faith I had in them.

That and I'm having some fun with the multiplayer mode. There's a reason why I've shifted over to multiplayer and technical support (still have no idea why Bioware decided to beta test their multiplayer-coding skills on a flagship title like ME3) forums.

I'm here for a number of reasons.

From a marketing and business perspective, this is actually a somewhat historic event. I think New Coke was the last thing to irritate customers this much. But there was effectively no internet then. So barely even the pretense of a connection between the corp and the customer. Don't forget how New Coke got resolved.

I would like to get what I paid for. This goes without saying, but when I was a teenager, I payed close attention to my favorite comic books. I loved story. I love story. I'd like to get the story potential that i was lead to believe I was purchasing.

We keep hearing the term "saving throw". I'd like to see Ray, Casey, Mike, and I guess Mac (although he probably doesn't get to make any of the decisions that need to be made right now) pull off their saving throw. For the sake of their faithful fans and for the sake of their employees. It has to be difficult for those at BW who really comprehend the postition that their company is in and the position that their company has put them in.

It is interesting.

I've spent 5 years and too much €€€€ on this franchise just to drop it so easily. I will see the end of this and if I got to leave, it won't be silently.

I want to keep posting something so that Bioware doesn't think that complaints about the ending was just a storm they thought they could ride off. And hope of course!

I am here in the hopes that Bioware weill grow a brain.

Sticking with a boy/star/child idea that protects us all by killing us is freaking retarded. I want them to understand that the idea is terribad. I want it fixed.

And if they don't, then they need to know they are losing a lot of fanbase - and they will not be forgiven.

Anger, plain and simple.  After an epic, heroic saga... I was forced to agree with the genocide justifying starchild.   I still feel dirty.

Because if we all just went away Bioware wouldn't feel any pressure to actually do what's right and provide the varied endings they promised.

If you want someone to change something they're doing then you have to let them know it needs changing. And no, once is not enough, the message must be repeated, often and loudly.

And I still have hope that Bioware will do the right thing and give MOST of their fans the option to get the endings their Shepard worked through three games to get, instead of one ending in three color flavors.

I am still here because I want too see how badly Bioware F****S this up. To me seeing Bioware crash and burn on this will give me more closure than those crappy endings of ME 3 gave me.

If they f***k it up at least I get a laugh. If they don't f***k it up then its a pleasant surprise. A big surprise indeed. If I can't have Bioware be the way they were I would rather just see them burn to the ground. Before anyone says anything I mean figuratively not literally.

At any rate if I don't like what they say I will then call Bioware Biowaste and be done with them for good.
