Is it confirmed that Miranda dies if you reject her even though you do all the things that should make her live at the end of the Sanctuary mission?

What do you mean by "reject" her? She dies if you don't meet with her or give her alliance access.

Yes, she dies if you reject her.
If you stay with her but deny her Alliance resources, she will die then as well.

This was a major head-scratcher to me. She was by far the easiest person to break up with in ME2. So I was pretty surprised at how she reacts to it this time.

If you never romanced her in ME2, then you should be fine, because the romance continuation dialogue won't happen.

Well, that just blows lol. I already did a playthrough continuing with Miranda and I just started a second one with Liara now. Problem is I don't have 2 separate files so I got no choice but to reject Miranda if I want to be with Liara in this one. Odd how she's the only romance that affected that much by turning her down

It points to Bioware originally wanting a forced "redemption" (IE death) for Miranda in ME3, but they knew they'd ****** off her fans.
