Yeah, that's why people are here. The ending is just comically bad. Impossibly bad. Inexplicably bad.

People are here because they don't know what else to do. We got a game without an ending, despite being assured that we were getting a satisfying conclusion to a beloved trilogy.

As far as people claiming that the ending ruined the game, I don't believe you should interpret it as the overall quality of the majority of the game being diminished simply because of the ending. It's simply that playing the ending ruins the game for them (or even the series); it's not that the content that was good before suddenly turned bad, it's that they have no desire to revisit any of that content because of the insanity they witnessed at the end.

I have friends that aren't even hardcore ME fans, that thought the ending was nonsense. I think objectively speaking, it's a very poorly written, ill-conceived idea. 

Such a literary disaster.

I've done quite a bit of writing and written stories before. One thing I was always told was to resolve conflicts and don't leave too many (if any) burning questions...ME3 effectively contradicts this notion. I feel like they were trying to get people to question it, but there are so many questions that eventually people just don't care to figure it out anymore after a while.
