ME3 is definitely my favorite. The gunplay is essentially perfect, and never before had a video game made me so emotional.
Which is your favorite Mass Effect?
Now that you've played all 3, which is your favorite ME?

Well ME1 had the best story, but what does it matter now? LOL. I have the most fun with ME2 though. Most of my favorite missions from the trilogy are in that one.

1 - By far the best ending and you were left with a positive result --- with even Udina hell bent on helping with the Reaper invasion.

ME2 for me.

On an epicness scale I would have to say ME3, but I agree that I probably had more good old fashioned fun with ME2. The loyalty missions were classic. I'll never forget Samara and Morinth's biotic showdown!
One thing I'm extremely disappointed with in the series tho is that they never brought back vehicular exploration. I think the Hammerhead was a vast improvement over the Mako but it was only DLC, and it wasn't included in ME3 for whatever stupid reason. The generic Citadel fetch quests would have been infinitely better with the Hammerhead.

Even with the crap ending, ME3 is still the best imo.

Hmm... I can't really say which one of the three I preferred more overall. If I had to pick the one that I liked the story and dialogue the most it would be Mass Effect 1, but combat and systems it would be Mass Effect 3.

ME is still my favorite. The gameplay in ME3 is the best, but I still prefer the story and cast and pacing of the first.

1 and 2 are close, 2 edges out due to the really great suicide mission.

For me..it's ME3...
Gameplay wise, I think it's better than either 1 or 2.
Secondly, I think the priority Rannoch and prority Tuchanka missions were well done much better than any other quest/missions in the series..that said, it's a little unfair given that ME3 works off of what ME1 and Me2 did
I liked how the Tuchanka mission, your choice on whether or not you think the genophage cure is a good thing depends on your choice from ME1 and
For example, if you had killed Wrex and destroyed the data, this meant that Wreav would be the clan leader...In such a scenario, no way am I giving the krogans the cure.
Conversely, a situation with both Wrex and Eve alive, I think those two can keep the krogans on the right path and I'll happily give the krogans the cure...

I think ME2 edges it for me over ME3.
It was the first ME that I played, I loved the characters, I enjoyed the story, I liked pretty much everything about it. That said ME3 is the superior game in several key areas, but the negatives it does have are much more damaging than those of ME2 IMHO.
I liked ME1, but the combat is frankly dreadful at times, I'm replaying it at the moment and the action just doesn't flow like ME2 and ME3. I'd sum it up by saying that in terms of story ME1 is the winner, in terms of gameplay ME3 wins, but as a combination of story and gameplay, ME2 does it for me.

Its a tie between 2 and 3. But really though, I hate choosing. Its like asking which original Star Wars movie is my favorite. I rather view them as a whole trilogy of awesomeness instead.

ME3, it does the best of one and two, and does a decent job of combining them. Basically, it feels like I'm playing a complete game rather than two halves that got separated for a part one and two movie ala kill bill.

ME1 and ME2 were very different games, but they're both tied for my favorite. I'd give each of them a 10.
ME3 gets a 7.5 or maybe an 8.0 if I'm feeling generous. It's certainly not a bad game, but it's not nearly as good as the first two, and crappy design choices and the god-awful ending definitely bring that score down a couple notches.
