I thought about legions death (Sacrifieced concensus) and thought because legion is synthetic and was not killed the old fashioned way (shot in the brain chips) he was in  some way giving his mind up to give his fellow geth setience.

what my question is is there any possible way legion can be saved in future games or dlc such as a misson where you have to go back into the geth consensus finding bits of legion mind then reviving him and he becomes a squad mate, I  can just imagine when he is back shepard goes to the memorial wall and removes legions name smiling the whole time.

just some food for thought still legions death was not cut and dry like thane's death so thier are possibiltes.

If anybody can think of future ways to involve legion in the mass effect universe post them here personally I would like to see legion return.

I thought about the same thing, and it would be cool to bring it back. Let's say Legion saved archival copies of its programs, before entering the consensus. Like it tries to do (but fails) if it dies on the SM in ME2. What if the Geth discover leftover reaper code in their systems and it infects them, making them believe the Reapers were right to harvest and preserve organic life. And the Quarians are under attack and forced to activate Legion, to try to convince the Geth otherwise. I'd like to add that this is dipping into fan-fic/headcannon, so nobody should take me too seriously. Just wanted to share my sentiments in what I believe could be an awesome DLC/game. But that's just me.

 On one hand, I guess I accepted his death, but on the other? God, i love Legion, I cried like a lunatic when he died

All I'm saying is legion at least has a chance of being brought back and if he is to be brought back later all the stops need to be pulled out.
