I'm trying to create a new material and have gotten stuck. There doesn't seem to be much info on this on the wiki.
What I've done so far is extract the textures I want to use, create the material object in the material library, and tried to assign the textures for each tab. For the normal and specular, this works fine, but I'm getting a "Could not load source texture [filepath] from file" error when I try to assign a diffuse texture.
I'm using the hro_anvil_lyr01x.dds files for the textures.
My aim in this is to create a material like the lyrium but which can be used with the texture brush in the level editor. Once I know how to do that, I can then edit the texture (export settings for the Photoshop nVidia plugin would help here) to make a red version, and hopefully make some sort of plain rock material to go with it.
Can anyone instruct me?

Hmmm, i have tried it with hro_anvil_lyr01d.dds, and it works fine. You can all load in diffuse from the All Game Ressources Directory. What for textures you have set in the normal and specular?
Edit: If you want modify, extract the file you want edit and put the modified file in the documents/.../packages/core/override dir.

How do I reach the "All Game Resources" directory? I'm just getting a normal browse window.

Ah! Thanks, it seems I went about it the wrong way. Was trying to create it through File -> New -> Material.
