Hey guys,

I love everything you guys have done with Mass Effect and everything you guys put into the game to make it so deep. I really think it is the best game series ever made. Although one little thing about Mass Effect 3 (and maybe Mass Effect 2, also this regarding the console versions) that I think would be sorta cool. I just thought it was kind of annoying swapping the disks out so many times. What if you could just install both game disk directly on the Hard drive so the game plays off just one? Is this even possible?

Also unrelated, how about releasing every bit of content for Mass Effect 2? Love to buy some new weapons and armor to make those play throughs fresh! Hope you guys see this. Thanks! Keep up the great work you all do!

Microsoft will never allow this. The disc you're playing must be in the drive, or what's to stop you giving your 2nd disc to a friend to play?

Making one a "Play Disk" Would be nice, like pc games have, where the content is installed from secondary disks and the "Play Disk" initiates the scenarios, scenes and keying the game for new markers throughout the storyline.

Not true, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow did it so that if you had disc 1 installed you could play the entire game using just disc 2 (to get around the lending to a friend it can only be done in that order)

as for the OP - I would love it if this were the case like in the manor of Castlevania:LoS but it can't be done now as the 360 DRM reads the information about what disc is being used from the boot sector of the disc and so can't be patched in :(

It was done once, back in 2010. It seems like a nice feature, but you have to wonder why noone else has done it since. Pain in the butt to design the game to work that way? Incompatibilities with the new Xbox disc format? Who knows? Whatever the reason, seems silly to hope for a longshot feature when a) the game discs are already pressed, released, and just don't work that way, and B) noone has implemented said feature again in over a year and a half.
