Ive been pondering about this, is there any reason to tell Diana Allers to get off the ship? Shes not that critical of a reporter unlike that Khalisah al-Jilani. Shes worth 5 war asset pts alone plus her interviews if handled at all competently add quite a bit.
Can she get in the way of a romance or something, and then you'd need to remove her?
Is there a reason to get rid of Diana Allers

She sits in the hold and interviews you every now and then.

Talk to her twice in a row and the second time you should get a dialogue wheel giving you the option. I don't think she gets in the way of anything, unless you encourage a relationship.

I've wondered about this as well. There's an option to tell her to get off the ship, sure... but is there ever any reason to use that option?

I know you can tell her to get off the ship, I am wondering if there is any reason at all to get rid of her other then... not liking her face? or something pointless like that

Just so you can, I guess, but as far as a "good" reason, no I can't think of one.

She didn't betray me or anything. I've wondered why Shepard says "you know what you've done" or something to that effect if you kick her out.

The war assets means too little for you to keep the walking IGN advertisement in the game. Kick her out.

was worried she would start licking random things on the ship

I suppose if Shep is pissed at her after her conflict with a crewman, the mechanic allows you to boot her ass off the Normandy.

I know Diane Allers is annoying, but there is really no reason to get rid of her. She can add a fair number of war assets and if you don't want to encourage a romance then just don't choose any dialogue options that sound like flirting.

Are you kidding? How can you not like her face?Draemian wrote...

Anyway, no, there's no reason to kick her off. The option is there, but she never does anything. You can turn her down if she hits on you, and you only have to give her a few interviews.

She steals all my toilet paper and smells like wet feet.
Also, I caught her licking a research terminal. Weird Girl....

I didn't know she advertised IGN, in fact I found her to say nothing about IGN. I think people need to hang up that tired response. All she does is act like a reporter.

Her face, voice, and clothing are enough of a reason to have her off my ship. I want no trashy NPC in mah ship.

She assists in strengthening krogan war assets and some other stuff. I've said it before and I will again: She's like the galaxy's pair of eyes in the most important ship in the galaxy. She's a nice little touch.

She does improve war assets and is a war asset herself but if she wasn't on the Normandy you wouldn't notice her.

She works for ign or you want renegade points.

Should never let her on the ship in the first place. Then she can die with the rest of the Citadel residents. The Normandy survives so there's a good chance she lives in the ending. You don't want that.

Sure, it keeps "Artistic Integrity" from getting in the way of your experience so I say why not?

This is why I find BSN to be terrible.
