Yeah, thats what it almost did. :pinched:

I tried to upload some screenshots from the game and at first it claimed unable to connet to server and my storage room was full... Though i have no screenies at the moment.:?

I restarted the game and tried again... The game started to upload image pretty succesfully and almost at 100% my screen goes blank and my PC crashes.

Ok... I boot up my PC and try this again.

My PC crashes again and after that time my PC almost didn't recover anymore.:crying:

I tried rebooting many times, but my PC jammed on "Checking NVRAM" status.
I finally managed to boot up my PC by taking out the power plug from the wall and leting my PC:s capacitators/memory/etc. to run "dry" by pushing the reset button for 10 seconds. (this is a known trick to work on laptops with booting problems so i though why not try it on PC also.)B)

Magicaly my PC booted up with out any problems back to XP. :wizard:

I think there is a major flaw in the game code that makes some serious memory leaking.

Please fix it because i do not dare try my luck again with the "Upload Screenshot"-button.;)

Weird...
Kill me, but most of the peoples that have problems with the game, have the same cpu as you do.
Am i wrong? might be.

Big post about lag's, might be wrong, and the problem is the quad core itself...

Just seeing some pattern and pointing at it, again might be wrong.

Hmmm...

I have to check this one out:

"You are running a DX10 capable card on a game using DX10 effects with DX9.0c installed. "

Wohoo!

I think i got it to work!

I "unchose" (if that is even a word) the frame-buffer effects under video options and now my PC did not crash when uploading screenie.

Though my human warrior is still not updating from lvl 3

EDIT:

The game also started to run waaaaay more better and i think it even looks better now :D

EDIT2:

Totally unrelated. The game works both on DirectX9 and 10. So stop with this nonsense already!

Well i did read the whole thread that Yowawe posted and there were tallk about deselecting the framebuffer effects. After i did that the did not crash anyore as i stated previously and my human berserk warrior finally got updated, im not geting the unable to connect problem, nor do i recieve the screenshots are full error, game runs way more smoothly and looks nicer.

That one single checkbox solved all the problems i was having with this game.

Thank you Yowave. :D

btw here is my warrior http://social.biowar...splay=character

This sound like a hardware malfunction and I guess DA was just the software which uncovered the problem. Software in general cannot cause hardware malfunctions, but of course it can reveal them.

I suggest you test your memory with "memtest" (google for it), check your temperatures and voltages with "CPUID Hardware Monitor" (again, google).

Yeah software can't kill hardware these days. Not even Furmark :D

Was that meant sarcastic? Normally furmark shouldn't be able to do it, because the graphic card should shut itself down before it fatally overheats. ;)

Ya that's my point :P Furmark is pretty much a power virus and even that won't break your hardware. It used to be possible in the olden days, but there are hardware safeguards now that downclock or just totally shut down if they're cooking.
