Just reset my sentinel, so it was at lvl 1.  Earned the Krogan from a pack and all other went to lvl 5.  Krogan was fine, but male, female and turian were set at -70 points and stats were increased automatically somehow.

Yep, my friend has this too. Fortunately the character will level up, and is seemingly progressing towards zero skill points again... slightly peculiar bug though.

It sounds like your old characters have defaulted to their previous state, i.e. with their powers set before you promoted them. There is a total of 86 points avaliable - if you check your krogan, I suspect you have/have spent 16 of them.

At any rate, I expect the number will go from -70 to -6X when you level up, and so on, up until the level cap.

I've run into the same thing. Last night (3/30), I promoted several characters for Operation Raptor. So these went back to 1; some are okay but some have negative numbers.

I have a level 7 Quarian Infiltrator, which I really like to use, but the Level Up Progress Points are  - 62
I have a level 3 human Engineer (used in solo/private match) which is at  -56 but I don't use it, so it's no problem.


So I don't know what to do? I'd like to continue to play the Turian Infiltrator
Any way to correct the level 7 character back to where it should be?
Will it reset itself?
Any harm in continuing to use it?


I have a level 18 Asari Vanguard that I had reset to 1 and the Progress numbers 4 are in the positive.

I usually host most of my own games, but join in a few random ones..

The only way I found to quickly fix character with negative skill points is to use respec card on that character. No guarantee that it will not happen again, of course, use at your own risk.

Bioware, it is so thoughtfull from your side that you haven't troubled us with such... insignificant issue. You have my deepest thanks.<_<

Yep, I used the respec card to 'fix' the one I wanted. So far, so good.
