It was a joke, I don't really hate anyone, but quarians are a little bit too arrogant
So which species in mass effect do you hate most?

While I don't really hate any races I do think the batarians are quite weak from a story perspective, they're race is never really given much development past the point of being antagonistic to humans and a batarian really doesn't look cool enough to get by on any sort of alien "mystique"

Humans, because they're all so important. Hackett rules over everything on the good side, TIM rules over Cerberus which is as much of an antagonist for the hero as the Reapers themselves - and they're both humans.
All the other species are likeable or at least funny. I can't be mad at the Collectors or Reapers, because Keith Szarabajka.

Batarians remind me of Soviet Union portrayed by american propaganda during Cold War. Especially their culture, government and economy.

easiest question ever!
the catalyst why? because he appears out of nowhere...& thanks to space magic he is the most dangerous species in the mass effect universe.

The blood thirsty Quarians and the whinney Tali.
I played a paragon Shep for the first run and it was necessary to to resolve the Quarian and Geth fiasco where both had a chance for survival, but now that i have the obligatory "the Quarians" survive play through, i am thinking i will allow the Geth to "naturally select" the Quarians from the gene pool, doing the entire galaxy a favor by exterminating the "suit rats" once and for all.

Starchildren.
But other then that, the Batarians. Slaving, primitive, spiteful bastards.

Quarians. They're just boring, imo. I didn't feel bad for them at all, and I was paragon.

Quarians for being completely idiotic and refusing to stop their commanders from starting a war.

Geth. Or the Asari.
The former because they're constantly helping the enemy; the latter because they're annoying.
EDIT: Except Samara. She manages to be quite awesome.

No one's gonna say Salarians? They covertly manipulate entire species to do their bidding and when the going gets tough they have no problem using bioweapons against them. And to top it off their leaders try to convince you to cover up for them.
Eff the Salarians, except for Mordin, he's cool.

Reapers. They're utterly homogenous and evil, so I feel it's the only one you can fairly hate.

It was the batarians until ME3 then it was the quarians. I mean seriously how ****ing stypidare you. I told you to just leave the geth alone so many times and then you expect me to just let you wipe them out? Their death was there own fault!
You what that reminds me of, 24, Jack Bauer throughout 8 season NO ONE listened to him just like i told the galaxy there coming, but no one listens.
But i hate the batarians i always kill balak, no points a gun at me & just walks away.

Batarians, followed by Vorcha, and finally the Rachni.
Batarians are just so irritating. I was glad to hear it when Hackett said they were history.
Vorcha are unpleasant to look at and listen to, but you don't see much of them.
The only reason I kept the Rachni around was to use them as cannon fodder.

I love the Quarians! All time favorite race.
The race I dislike would be the Batarians. All we've seen from them are criminals, pirates, and slavers. And if there not in those three catagories, there massively racist.
