I don't think I've actually met a Batarian yet that I've liked. So I guess them.

Don't hate any. I kinda dislike the Asari a little.

Purely cause they were made to be the typical "blue space babes" of this universe.

Krogan. They're useful, but annoying and destructive as butt. And they look like Dinosaurs.

HOLD UP.

The latter isn't a reason to hate krogan, it's just another reason to find them irrestistably awesome. Cannot compute.

Well...probably the Vorcha. They're pretty useless....

The Quarians are ok, but I despise their view on the Geth as a whole.

It's a reason for a xenophobe.

The Asari, honestly. They're cute. They're -all- cute. Because they all look and act roughly the same. Aside from Benezia, Liara and Samara I can't tell them apart. They're like little blue pod-people. The writers seem to assume that we'll all just fall dumbstruck in love with them. They're over-exposed, written to be near-perfect space-elves at the expense of learning more about the potentially more interesting Salarians or Turians. Just like Liara's love interest scenes where developed seemingly at the expense of other more interesting characters.

From Liara's mousey little voice to Aria's "oh tough girl pirate" act. The only one I have any actual affinity for is Samara, who's at least a professional ass-kicker. Because the idea of a space-paladin is just goddamn awesome..

You! You, sir are a blight!

The Batarians where written to be the counter-race to humanity. Geth to our Quarian, Salarian to our Krogan. The Batarian Hegemony is the North Korea of the Galaxy and human advancement caused them to leave The Citadel. To become a rogue state and wage a proxy war of bandits, slavers and pirates against human settlements in Batarian areas of interest. Of course they don't like you and your human crew.

The real crime with the batarians is that the lazy writing in ME3 robbed us of a resolution with them.  Especially considering the fact that TWO of Shepard's backgrounds revolve exclusivly around the details of the proxy-war with the Batarians. They -made- Shepard!

Turians. There are too many male ones in the games. It's like a sausage fest talking to them.

Agreed. Though the only Asari I kinda like is Aria.

Liara got better in ME3 than the previous 2 aswell. But yeah agreed.

Liara got -better- than she was in Mass2, because she dropped that "Oh so gritty, hell-bent on revenge,  from college student to top-rated-underworld-info-broker in two years" act, for the most part. They largely reverted her character back to mousey little Liara of Mass1, which worked a lot better. Still not a -great- character, but more tollerable.

The Hanar...they're just really, really stupid and annoying. They're like a bad Star Trek alien from ToS or early TnG. The kind of stuff you look back at and laugh.
