Man, lots of hate for the Quarians around here. Doesn't Tali count for anything?
Fine, she and I will just go live in her house on Rannoch. Oh wait, that can't happen...
So which species in mass effect do you hate most?

BUTTarians
Xenophobic, Slave owning, Child torturing, Tyranny endorsing, world invading Pricks. I didn't meet ONE nice Batarian in the entire game, not one.
You know when that Mass Relay blew up that Batarian Colony? I felt nothing.
And I'd do it again.

Asari, for withholding potentially useful information on the protheans and keeping it for themselves.

Asari, their attitude as a whole causes more problems than they're worth. Doesn't prevent individuals from being great though thankfully.

Humans. Any race that gives birth to anyone like the Joker is not worth saving.

I don't hate any race, but the asari have always bugged me.
I hate how they fill two nearly opposite roles in the ME universe. On the one hand, they're basically like the twi'leks; sexy human-esque aliens that come in a highly different color, who--let's not kid ourselves--are primarily there to appeal to the teen to middle aged male audience that makes up the bulk of sci-fi fans. They dance, have a reputation for being promiscuous, ect.
Yet on the other hand, they're also supposed to be this advanced, sophisticated ageless race of powerful and wise matriarchs.
I don't know, it just never felt right to me.

Save for Tali, the Quarians did try to start a war with an overwhelmingly better equipped foe when the entirely galaxy's existence was in jepoardy.
Just sayin'.

That's kinda not fair. The quarians didn't start a war, three admirals did.

Quarians, by far. They are the only annoying race(Except for maybe the vorcha and batarians) and they're genocidal maniacs.

You're right. One of the admirals actually wanted peace, if I remember correctly, but the other two were warmongering. So I hate the two admirals that pushed for war against a better equipped foe during a galactic crisis.
However, originally when the Geth were designed, they seemed to slaughter them and change the history of what really happen to make their crusade against the Geth seem right. The geth did not initiate hostilities, they only protected themselves. So I dislike most Quarian leaders.
Since I'm pinpointing leaders, the Salarian dalatrass did not give the Krogan a chance, and did not lend me the full strength of the Salarian race at first.
