after a lot of discussion, we decided ultimately the reason that they were sent was not done in the context of celebrating the work or accomplishment of the Mass Effect 3 team. This is a subtle, but important aspect in determining how to pass the feedback to the team.
Chris, i hope you are still reading because that is not entirely true. Did you consider the fact that if the mass effect's, including 3, where not of such high standard and outshining the competition, if the games did not suck us into that magical world so much, we would have never donated, cared this much or would still be here?so basically the donation is in the context of celebrating, and thanking for the accomplishment of your work.

Hey Bioware, you know what I find funny?
You're being offered three colours to choose from, and using your own critical thinking you've made your own decision and said "We choose option #4".
Giving Shepard that same choice would go a long way to showing you understand where this went wrong.

So again. Will there be proper proof of these cupcakes being delivered to those promised local youth shelters...an not just biowares word...biowares word is worth nothing now.
I'm actually starting to get pissed now. Not that these kids got free cupcakes, but the fact that Bioware could've EASILY told us what they were planning on day 1 of this campaign. Instead they gave us various replies of "YUMMMMM cupcakes."
Bioware you are a disgrace. You trolled us for no reason. This is a ****ty way to treat your fans..just saying.
I wouldnt be as upset if they told us on DAY 1 of the campaign what they were planning to do.
This is PR talk. They had this written up yesterday, just for todays occasion. They knew they wouldn't accept the cupcakes, but they played coy all along. That's what makes me rage.

As far as I'm concerned, we raised $1,005 to send cupcakes to a youth center. BioWare redirected our troll to a good cause. And really, they WERE trollcakes, so I understand what Chris said about not being able to accept them. If I were a BW employee, I wouldn't really have been able to enjoy them.
I really don't think they intended to shaft us by not accepting them.
We collaborated with BioWare to make a lot of kids happy today. Everybody wins.
This is what he meant by the spirit of the gesture.
The cupcakes were not just sent because people love BioWare they had a subtle message of disapproval.
In the end, everyone wins. Get over it.
Just no, stop it. AT LEAST wait till the end of April. they said there will be news in April regarding endings DLC.RafaelBRms wrote...

I think that's a great idea. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]
Poor kids can always use something sweet to cheer them up.
Guys, I don't think that the idea has been played. In fact, if the kids get something out of it, everyone wins.
Let's be creative again: Let's show how much we care.
And dear Mr. Priestly:
If the people wouldn't appreciate the game(actually the whole franchise) and the work done on it, they wouldn't take this much effort in showing you how much they care about the game the team created.
I think, that is a reason to celebrate.
Because:
Even if you face a flame-storm from people who can't remain civil, even if many people showed their disappointment with the ending:
Your fans and costumers, still put this much effort in showing you how much they care for Mass Effect.
How much trust they have in you.
Is this not worth some celebrating? Having people touched so deep with your work, that they don't abandon it like it's just a game?
I appreciate it, that you took the notes from the boxes. You mentioned, BioWare takes such input serious, so I'm sure they will be read and given proper attention.
