As far as this outrage about them not keeping the cupcakes... Childs Play. The defesne of that from so many that are now acting outraged is "well something good came from it"

Indeed it does. It's just a bit funny because about a day ago, this thread was the height of positivity, and now suddenly it's exploding every which way.

Well to be fair it seems confined to those couple people that want to paint BioWare in a negative light in any way possible.
And they ruin it for everyone. I in no way think of the whole cupcake or Retake group like this. Just those few who are so tied up in their mindless anger that ruins things like this for everyone.

Perhaps LoganKey could comment. That is certainly not how I interpreted it. It was a little bit cheeky but overall I believe these were sent out with the best of intentions. The majority of the game was very good, to me this was a celebration of the series, but with proviso about the ending. I hope Bioware did not take this as you suggest.Fingertrip wrote...

Ok guys, we all did good. Bioware got our message, and the kids got some food. If anyone is curious, I was interviewed by two separate news sources. One from Edmonton, one from Toronto. I will post links when the interviews are up. WIth respect to the charity portion of this campaign, this was my official statement:
"I'm glad that these Cupcakes were received, and also very happy that
they got donated to kids who need them. It doesn't matter who eats them.
RetakeME3 sent its delicious message, and did some good at the same
time."
We held the line, and Bioware knows how we feel. Again, we did good. Bioware has our letters, and hungry kids get cupcakes.
We held the line. Now we wait till April, and see where we go from there.

How would you feel if you did something "wrong", and you people kept throwing it back at you, regardless in what way- it's a constant reminder of the poor decision/action you made, it's no good in whichever intended way it is.

I'll say this. I'm not in favor of criticizing Bioware for donating these to charity. Remember how we were bashed by the media for donating to charity because herp derp ulterior motives. It's not a good feeling to be demonized for donating stuff to kids.
I see people in this thread defending Bioware for doing this. I'm sorry, but when did they defend us?
