In a way, I totally understand not eating the cupcakes. I mean they were "protest" cupcakes!!! Don't get me wrong, best...idea...ever, but if you were Bioware, wouldn't you feel weird eating something that was give to you telling you that the ending of your product was horrible?!
We got our point across, in both a kind but upfront way and that's what is important. That Bioware gave the cupcakes away to needy kids is awesome, because the evil thing to do would have been to grap the cupcakes from the Fuss people, and publicly dump them in the trash while ripping up the comments that were sent to Bioware. That's not what Bioware did - they accepted the cupcakes, made sure to take out all the messages so that they could be read and then gave the cupcakes to children who would enjoy them. Saying that Bioware giving the cupcakes away was wrong, would be like saying that giving our money to Child's Play was wrong.
This was an awesome way to protest the endings of Bioware but lets not start complaining that Bioware didn't sit there and eat our cupcakes while at the same time reading the notes that were sent about the endings. Complaining about the endings is fine....complaining that people did not eat cupcakes - well there's a limit to complaining, that's all I have to say.
