Guys relax.

Let's hold off on any more campaigns until PAX happens. Whatever Bioware is planning, chances are that the decision has already been made. We gave them the best feedback we could over the last two weeks.

We'll figure out what to do after PAX.. in the meantime, just keep holding the line, sending in your letters, and (if so inclined) give to Full Paragon ;)

The game has only been out for a month. Do you guys really think they've come up with a new end in one month? What are people expecting at Pax?

Well I was born in Russia (hence the last name), but I've lived in Canada most of my life. Sometimes a bit of the old accent slips out though :D

As Alistair would say: "A maybe might be nice..."

In all seriousness, if Bioware really puts themselves in it, they could write a new ending by PAX and have it programmed in the next few months following.

I agree that maybe we should hold off campaigns for now, wait the two weeks and see what Bioware comes up with for PAX.

If nothing happens... well, I'm sure a 'Marauder Shields' poster will look great on the ad space just across the road from the Bioware office.

There wont be anything by pax. As i said before allot of the ME team went/is still on vacation. And that makes sense. Someone mentioned 16 hour work days prior to release when i was there. So really the most we can ask for at PAX is confirmation that a fix will be made? Just knowing something is coming would be a great thing.

Indoctrination theory DLC.

One can dream.

Then it would mean they have been working on it ever since the game was sent for publishing/distribution whatever.

Expecting them to already have a storyline DLC in the works.  Most people have agreed that the "ending" we got wasnt actually the ending and the final story content of ME3 isnt even out yet.

I think at best we can expect am announcement on what the ending solution is and maybe a rough timeframe when it will be released, like late summer etc...and then we will probably get the Omega dlc announcement, which will probably be a late April release...what retake does next will largely be dictated by what the ending solution is rather than when it is...

There will be guidance at PAX. Or do you know something else? I'm not expecting a DLC, but I want to know what they plan to do - either tweak or fix.

They will most likely do something anyways. I mean look at the prices. ME3 is already cheaper than Skyrim.

Origin: £34.99
Amazon: PC £17.99
Amazon: PS3 £23.99
Amazon: 360 £23.99

Just to put a bit of perspective on this - Skyrims prices on amazon.co.uk

PC: £21.47
PS3: £27.91
360: £27.91

You seem to forget many things, first that you have no idea what the word "troll" means, but also the meaning behind what I said.

How can I forget that I do not have an idea about something? Kinda seems contradictory. Dunno just sayin

Instead of wasting money on REWARDING PEOPLE for lying and other such things as well as making the coconut cluster with a swirl in the middle of feces that is better known as Mass Effect 3, it is more logical to dedicate the MONEY to charity.

So it's win win right? Right?

The issue is that since the money was used to buy cupcakes and confectionary snacks, it cannot now be used for charity,

Wait what? Why? Law or smth?

it has already been spent,

ROFL wooot? "has already been spent"? You have no idea how money works do you? Money circulates, it's not "spent away".

and so if it is then turned over to someone and they REJECT IT

They didn't reject it at all. They gladly accepted it and then figured it should be sent to charity. Quite generous from them actually. They could have eaten them, but they rather give them to poor kids. I say that's pretty awesome.

so as to give it to whatever they want, be it a charity, a dumpster, or a homeless man, it was not intended for that purpose,

"THEY WERE GIVINNN CUPCAKES AND BY GAWD THEY WILL EAT THEM ALLLLLL!!!"

and so not only was it wrong to waste the money on cupcakes, it was also wrong for BioWare to decide what to do with a gift meant for one purpose not whatever purposes they desired, as that is insulting.

Funnily, you're pretty lonely at the insulting business, which is hilarious given that you have no right of being insulted at all since you were not part of this at all. So you are just telling others they should feel insulted coz ... coz.... coz they shouldaveeaten them! Else, teh universe falls apart. Or something.

Basically, the money should of been given to charity, it wasn't.

Not the money, the cakes were. That was nice.

The cupcakes made with the money should of been received and eaten by their recipient. They weren't.

Him sees cakes given to charity
He hatin

This isn't an act of hypocrisy or anything, merely pointing out that those who gave to the charity for cupcakes had their money used for something they could of donated actual funds to which would probably help in a more significant, rather than what they thought was being done with it. And that is wrong. It becomes a worse situation when it was a gift that was not received in the way gifts are designed to be received.

Not hypocritical. I think in fact quite consistent at its profound overall trolling douchebaggery.

What if this whole time they've been planning something and aren't saying anything cause they don't wanna spoil anything? That would be hilarious.

Then that would have been poor judgement. This whole thing has hurt Bioware a lot more than it has helped them.

This has definitely been a Paragon day for the Mass Effect community!

I arrived too late from work and the chipin was already closed, but I salute all of you who contributed to this gesture. It's a wonderful accomplishment, unheard of in gaming history, I believe.

Will it get us to where we want? April will tell, I hope. From a marketing point of view, EA would be idiots to pass on this. And Bioware would be loved forever and ever by happy, loyal customers.

Again, congratulations to all. =)
