If the the Marauder Shields cake is to happen after Pax, I'm sooo in. Whether to make a point or not because cakes are delicious. Who doesn't love cake!

They didn't keep the cupcakes?? 0.o You know... you loyal fans paid like a grand for them, don't you? Who... could have though that was a good idea? Do you really thing that sent your fans a positive message? *reads futher*. Ah, as you can see, it didn't... You really should have kept them. It would have shown grashiness and humility. It sure would have garned more good will then rejecting them. I'm... genuienly suprsied at this move. *shrug* For a company i've held in very high reguard for years now... i'm dissapointed anew now.

They accepted the cupcakes and then donated them, how can you be upset at this?

I'm very proud of Bioware's official response to this.

I'm also glad that they donated the cupcakes. No one needs 400 cupcakes. A kids shelter or whatnot will do much better things with them than a bunch of people that sit down for a living.

That said, I sincerely hope that the message was received as "They're upset with the ending and we should work with them" and not "what a bunch of entitled children, our artistic vision is correct".

So if the new DLC 'closure' satisfies everyone, can we please send more cupcakes and Marauder Shield to Bioware in thanks? Those cupcakes look amazing and I want the team to enjoy them!

Bioware was presented with three choices...and chose option four. Interesting.

I absolutely approve of what they did. Super classy. Now...I wouldn't mind an option four as well.

I agree. The irony would be delicious if it wasn't so sad.  No should have been the fourth choice for Shepard as well.

If Bioware releases a DLC that adds more content (i.e an epilogue, new endings, an option to preserve the relays, ect) instead of merely clarifying the current endings, I'll send them any damn confectionery treat they desire.

I think at best we can expect am announcement on what the ending solution is and maybe a rough timeframe when it will be released, like late summer etc...and then we will probably get the Omega dlc announcement, which will probably be a late April release...what retake does next will largely be dictated by what the ending solution is rather than when it is...

I think there were several other factors that led into that decision we are not pivvy to.  But the intent was always light hearted and I think it came across fine.
