I think you're missing the point. But why be so concerned with what people do with their time and money? If you don't like it then save yourself the trouble and ignore it. 

There's no need to be a cupcake contrarian.

Normally I'm ageist these crazy ideas of drawing attention to something. Normally I'm firmly in the 'the ending was ok' camp. Normally I'd be saying this was silly.

But then you said cup cakes! And bribing/drowning/burying BioWear under a flood of cupcakes, to show not only that people want change, want to make a protest, but also to show the people who's work we have, by in large, enjoyed for many a good year some love and support, is an idea I like in vision. (Plus imagery of a flood of cup cakes is too good to pass up)
SO I'll Say, Good luck to you, this sort of positive, almost happy, action can't help but bring a smile to my face. And restored a bit of my faith in the bsn.
