Check the main post, I'm currently taking ideas for what to attach in the notes. I'll send a page or so of feedback to them with the cupcakes.
I'll make an account on that site in the morning and do what I can money-wise.
I think it would be awesome if we sent them light-hearted, witty, constructive-type feedback notes with them, like, from individual fans, if possible.

This is simply abuse of the cupcake industry to further your aims! I must alert the press!
I can see it now "Forbes Headline: Gamers protest video game endings by sending multicolored cupcakes."

I get that it's meant to be light-hearted, but no matter how nicely you ask, no matter how light hearted you are when asking, it gets tiring after a while hearing the same thing over and over. Especially since it's not "X weeks after", it's "hope you still remember our dilema today, even though we've been posting about it every day since the game came out".The Last Guardian wrote...

I agree about the pestering part. They've said they're going to make an announcement in April, do we constantly have to belabor this point day after day? I think they get it by now. Let's let them have the time to figure out what they want to do. They might have the most brilliant thing ever in the works, but if we keep pestering them, they might lose motivation.
That said, I actually like the idea of cupcakes. Only don't make them all the same. Do something nice for them not because we want something, not to try and make a not-so-subtle point, but simply because we want them to know that, despite our issues with how ME3 ended, we really do appreciate all the hours of entertainment that they've given us.
It's meant to be light hearted.
I think we all understand that they get our dilema (hopefully). This is more of "here's hoping you still remember our dilema X weeks after" in a not so "burn bioware burn!" sort of way.
Plus it's cupcakes, and who the does not like cupcakes?
Like I said, I really like the cupcake idea, I just don't think they should have strings attached. If we're going to do something positive, let's make it completely positive. Go ahead and include a note that says something to the effect that we want them to know that despite this one issue, we really love their work and appreciate what they've given us. That still says yes, we're still here, yes we still have issues with the ending, but it turns it into a positive message that we appreciate everything else about these games enough to go out of our way to thank them.
I know if it were me, and people were criticizing something that I'd worked hard on, I'd be really bummed right now. A (in my case gluten free) cupcake, and a heartfelt note of appreciation would go a long way towards lifitng my spirits.

For those asking how much money I'm aiming for... I currently don't have a quote yet. I only posted this thread a few hours ago, but it's 4:3am here in Canada. The Bakeries aren't even open yet for me to inquire!
I WILL get a full quote tomorrow and keep everyone updated

It would be ideal to get in contact with one of these bakeries and have them set up a chipin page that goes directly to them and have them send a guy with a camera to edmonton during the delivery and make it a whole marketing thing for them at the same time. It's win/win.
Win

OP DO THIS PLEASE.
-I agree. The bakery wont give a ****e about the game but the free pr and extra orders they will very much embrace. If you can get the bakery to send a guy along with a camera for the reception that would be aces. If you can get anyone we know to recieve the cakes instead of "random_deskjockey_0032" that would be sterling.

They've obviously read all our feedback and our quite aware about the issues we share. Simply spamming those same issues on those cupcakes kind of defeats the point, huh? Yeah, I like that idea. Simply give thanks to Biowares work for all there games including me3 (which besides the ending was a damn good game), in a sort of snarky way with the red/green/blue cupcakes.
Maybe we can write one big letter and say our general community thanks to everyone who took part in developing our favorite franchise, and that we hope that our love to them, is always equal to there love to us as a customer and gamers who love there product of yesterday and tomorrows.

How many cupcakes are you aiming to send?
I personally think it would be ideal if every employee in the edmenton office can recieve one. But I'm not sure how feasible that is (price range wise at least).

They had a year plus for DA2. The same for the Bazaar issue for their international customers. They had a month for Deception. They've tried to hide behind "accredited reviewers". If we dont keep up pressure we get nothing. Their motivation to get things done and especially doing things right in the first place seems to be very slim as it is.

-Cupcakes do not cost a bundle and they are easy to mass produce and store. 500$will buy alot of cupcakes. 1.5k will drown bioware in them. Plus the PR and and the innovative ideas for peacefull passive activism amongst the fanbase will win the "retake" movement alot of goodwill... on top of the goodwill for gathering 80k for kids.
I mean... which other game in history can claim its fanbase cared so much about an IP that they went to this length to protect it?

I could possibly see Bioware taking a group photo that says these are our favorite cupcakes on the citadel.
I dont think that would be a very smart idea. The most we can hope for is someone recieving them and then perhaps a few pics of devs and writers eating them.
Group photo could be concieved as mocking the fanbase and would serve as ammunition for further controversy if DA3 bums out too.
