$1,000 is very conceivably be around the amount of money Retake Mass Effect supporters took back from Child's Play.

Could've been a nice replacement for that money, eh?

This idea is amusing. I hope it sends the right message. We'll see. Honestly I love at least some of the hardworking people IN bioware. but they can't do their jobs they way we want them to unless we hold the decision makers feet to the fire. So I'm ambivalent leaning to positive about this gesture I guess it also depends on how it get's spun. At least it's not something that can be labeled 'entitled whining'

Almost everyone in this forum pays for entertainment. People choose to purchase cupcakes because they find it to be an entertaining way of sending a message. They paid for entertainment. I know! It can be distressing that people pay for things that THEY find entertaining, which YOU may not find entertaining at all.

If you don't like cupcakes sent to developers, don't send cupcakes to developers. You're not going to convince us with logic and reason. Yes, we know the terribly risk that 'developers could start to expect gifts to do their job.'

Razman, do not spend your money on this. The rest of us will spend our entertainment dollars as we choose. And I certainly am NOT done spending yet!

My friends were treated very well, incredibly well, never lied to and appreciated in every regard, I was always there.

I know what it's like to be treated like **** though by the people I did such things for, and so I know that throwing nice things at them won't make them apologize or feel bad, they disrespected and thought ill of me enough to hurt me in the first place.

BioWare hurt us, they should not be rewarded.
