Thomas: omg omg omg i hope so
Chris: Oh come on, they are never going to...
*knocking on the office door*

I picture Thomas pulling the heist of the century and stealing the cupcakes en route from the truck so that when the truck arrives at Bioware offices all that's left is 2 cupcakes and an IOU.

Being 18 doesn't mean you couldn't be more mature than others... age doesn't mean maturity after all.

Actually, it does:

"To locate structural changes in the brain accounting for the increasing effectiveness in cognition and skills that occurs at the final stage of behavioral development, we attempted to determine the age at which the corpus callosum completes its active growth period. We assessed the growth rate of the corpus callosum by measuring its area twice on midsagittal magnetic resonance imaging scans separated by a 2-year interval, in a series of 90 subjects with a wide range of ages. We observed an increase in the size of the corpus callosum as long as human mentation expands, up to the middle 20s. Clinical and experimental data about the corpus callosum, together with the present findings, suggest that the corpus callosum is part of the highest order-latest maturing neural network of the brain."

*Points you to the dictionary*

Pardon? English is not my first language, did I spell anything wrong? I am always eager to learn if you could point the misspellings out for me? I do believe the substance of the post stands firmly grounded, though. Great new avatar too, congratulations.

Definition of maturity is in the DICTIONARY.

I see, so I didn't spell anything wrong and you are trying to avoid the issue of your previous false statement by writing *Points you to dictionary*. Compelling argument, if I ever saw one, I must say. And now, for our live forum audience, I bid you, would you please address the substance of my post? At your leisure, sir MENSA, pick apart the peer reviewed dissertation argument which contradicts your previous statement about age having nothing to do with how mature one is?

Or are you just here to thread**** like you have done repeatedly?

LOL Mensa is nothing but a bunch of people with high IQs (which congrats on your ability to learn material faster, you simply wont out-argue a specialist) and the EQ of a 10 year old. God walked in, realized it was a massive pissing match and walked out... No Thank You.

This is stereotypical, incorrect, insulting, and I'm pretty sure a violation of the code of conduct.

Humans... viable if aggression factors can be controlled.

Quite.

Quoting from the game instead of addressing the dissertation? Awesome. You must be very MATURE.

Could we get some moderator action in on this, please? It's getting tedious to say the least.

And what is your issue now? You made a statement that insulted people, I corrected it to be accurate and maintain civility, you then harassd me about my correction, then I told you to go read it in the dictionary, then you made another post for some random reason, and finally I define it for you with the flavor text of Harbinger and you insult me?

Nope, it would be insulting myself as well. I choose not to re-up my membership as this is my opinion. (deleted realized the rest was actually slander)

Are you as sure as you were in your previous post, where I said certain individuals seemed to be mentally retarted without pointing at anyones name, and you soaked the "mental retardedness" up like a sponge because you immediately thought I had to be referring to you? That was rich. MENSA sure has lowered its standards as of late.

My issue is your thread****ting and refusing to man up when called out on your false presumptions on age having nothing to do with being/not being mature, as explained in the peer reviewed dissertation. There is nothing civil or mature about you. Go away.

First off it's "retarded", and retarded means "to slow, or retard speed". Using it as an insult is just a reflection on your own lack of maturity.

----

You just directly insulted me again, which isn't helping your points

---

Maturity relates to the developed state of the mind by advancement, experience, or abnormal reaction, it isn't a clarification of age, nor is it a type-modifier based on age-based classifications.

---

You can insult me, but it won't make you right.

For all y'all's information (yes, I say "all y'all," and I'm not from Texas XD), the brain only physically matures at age 25. This is why you pay way too much for car insurance until then. While some may have mental/emotional maturity beyond their age, 18 is only a legal definition of adulthood, not a physical one. It's also difficult to gauge mental maturity, especially when the very subject of maturity is being argued in a video game forum.

Cupcake indeed! I for one believe that they are delicious, and am looking forward to seeing how this all turns out. I hope Bioware recognizes it as the message of "Hey, for whatever bad calls you guys had to make recently, we still recognize how amazing you are when you get the time necessary to pull things together. Looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve as a resolution to all this mess. Enjoy" that it's meant to be.
