Oh this is absolutely delicious :P If you want someone living in Edmonton to do anything I can help. Dont know where in this city the studios are located but id be willing to take photos and whatnot if you want

I personally would love to see video of this. But not a blatant "I want to see your guys reaction" video, but more of a hidden video as a random guy who is just dropping off his fake resume while all of this awesome-ness is occuring.

Good point. Would have been funnier if it were a total surprise though.

Casey: "Who orders 1000 cupcakes?"

Someone at Bioware will be saying ''we should do this more often!''

Quoted for epic truth

Btw, I'm also not sure of how this will be received. We have to make clear, in a civilized fashion, that we would like to have closure, not rub it in their face, but also not just let them believe we are satisfied with the ending.

We are currently trying to organize the delivery of a mass of cupcakes to Bioware's studio in Edmonton. All the cupcakes will be divided into equal parts Red, Blue and Green colors... but they will all taste exactly the same.

lmao, this is great. +1

THe other thing is we can possibly get the news networks on this. Global and CTV news Edmonton might actualy dispatch a crew if they knew about the delivery before hand. Not to sure though. Anyway its almost 4am here and i need sleep.

I personally wanted it to be a snary appreaciation gift for ME3 (since it was a pretty awesome game aside for the endings), and all the work of yesteryear.

But I doubt that will be the more favorable option. :/

I love this idea!

The only thing I'm worried about is trying to get out point across nicely without shoving it in their faces...perhaps say something like:

"We appreciate everything you've done for us, so we got you some cupcakes. You have plenty of choices, but no matter which one you choose they will all taste the same. Wouldn't you rather have different flavors to choose from instead of the illusion of having a choice? :)"

...er...that sounds a little pushy...or maybe it's just me. (it's 5am here...I'm exhausted. XD)

All I know is that in my city, fans sending cupcakes to a video game developer in order to protest an ending would probably not even make our news paper, let alone our tv news lol. But more props for Edmonton if they do decide to cover it.

Now officially, 1 hour later, off to bed. lol.

Admittedly, my earlier post was somewhat tongue in cheek. I am not actually advocating sending Bioware **** cupcakes.

And heck, why not go the honey route? The vinegar route isn't really working, so it's worth a try. Kudos to you.

Well to be honest you'd catch even more flies with dogcrap. But i dont hate bioware even dispite the frack ups so thats a bad idea :D

It would at least make the "Funny trivialities before the weather report" bit of most news. Dont knock that. It can be quite effective in its own right. Anyway, the "Retake" movement has allready made an "activism first" by employing charity as a tool to get attentiion. You might not agree with me on my choise of words but the "Charity" bit was sheer brilliance and whoever thought that up should find a marketing/public relations department somewhere and start a career of thinking out of the box. I used to do "image building" for a living and its good to see this form of "PR guerilla warfare" (take what you need from your enemies - Mao Tse Tung).

Hmm, i'd like to help but I sort of put my funds to that Childplay thing. Still, i'm sure I can at least get a dollar to you! I really hope you subscribe to the 'every dollar helps' philosophy.

Brilliant idea. Shouldn't the cupcakes have some bittersweet taste as well? At least Casey Hudson would love them.

I'm laughing so warmly over here. This idea is delicious! They get to eat cupcakes, enjoy the taste, think of us and our love for them - and hey, tongue in cheek peek with the whole red/blue/green thing ;)

I don't really get how this is gonna work. Like, how can we put in money -after- we order? Shouldn't it be the other way around - we pay up and then we order as many as we can? Uh. Any ways, you have my moneys. Cupcakes for everyone! =D

Nah, we're just giving them the sweet they forgot about in "bittersweet". ;)

Bioware would consider this as a reward for screwing up the ending.

"Well our fans really loved our ending and they've even given us cupcakes to show how much they enjoyed it!"
