Still doing prelim work on the graphic to be etched.  Haven't put a poll up.  What would it say anyway?  Vote on the text?

Still doing prelim work on the graphic to be etched.  Haven't put a poll up.  What would it say anyway?  Vote on the text?


Something to that extent, yes. I recall "Never forget your fans" and "Never forget" has been mentioned already.

A full 3d sculpted cake of marauder shields would be hella expensive. $100 wouldn't begin to cover it. So if a Marauder Shields Cake initiative were to happen, we'd need another fundraiser to pull it off.

I thought it would be more along the lines of those "print your kid's picture on a flat square cake with food dye" kind of cakes, but with a screenshot of Mr. Shields.

I think that would work just as well. But surely, one could try to raise some more, if people wanted to chip in?

I've already said it but if you want more cash and it's something the group thinks is a good idea - my wallet is open. I wanted to contribute earlier and missed the cut off, so I'm definitely in if it's on.

If not halted, this project would escalate to the cakes being dropped on BioWare employees, by fans in Marauder Shields costumes, stationed on this.

Personally, I think we should wait. I'm leaning on donating the excess $100 to full Paragon, and then waiting till PAX is done.

IF the community is still down for a Marauder Shields Initiative, then I'll help set it up and drop $100 of my own money at the start of it.

Wow. Slow down guys. :) I like the plaque idea, but we've already got a lot rolling. We have the cupcakes, Full Paragon, and PAX is coming up soon. Let's save our energy in case something pops up over the next few days.
