I like the idea because it's something of a peace offering to a company full of employees who really do make great games... And they made a great game in ME3... It was just ruined by a decision from the top, I think.

We get it, you don't like the endings and Bioware has violated everything you hold dear and you're depressed and you want to make them know you don't like the endings--you all never shut up about it--but you're putting the "fan" in fanatic to shame with these acts of attention.

They could've donated this money to charity.... I mean its funny but its still.... Don't know how to feel about it

Don't close this thread not yet at least.

I still want to hear updates about what will happen with the cake concept. Personally I say let's just donate the 100$ to the Full Paragon campaign, and simply start a new fundraiser for an extravagent cake. Personally, I don't think anything will die down after pax. Personally, I see a few cases of what will happen; Either A, they'll announce a plothole ending fix which will ENRAGE fans even more because most people want the whole ending in general to be scrapped. B: We get a new complete ending annoucment, people are celebrating, and thus we'll send the maruder shields cake as a way of saying thanks and never to forget about us in future game decisions.

Either way the cake will still have a purpose IMO. Either for being enraged and upset (which I personally hope isn't the case), or for celebration for listening to us.

Regardless, it'll be a fun new campaign to do. Personally I had something like this in mind for the cake:

Something really extravegant, because you know, that's how we roll...lol.

Also I think the plaque idea could be done after PAX. But personally, I wouldn't mind if we get all our ducks in row (the chip in page, the official plaque thread, specifics about the plaque) now. That way we can immedietly send it the day after pax ends. A sort of, Welcome home gift. Also, that way if they announce something really awesome during pax about the ending we can write something very thankful on the plaque. If they screw up, then we won't write something mean, but maybe something more hintful about our displeasement (I have no clue about what we could write though that matches that)

But yeah, exciting times ahead...
