About how many Spectre packs did it take? Not asking time-wise, but just number of packs. I know it's all by chance, but I was just wondering. I read somwhere here that some poor soul had apparently gotten to some insanely high N7 level of like 300+ or something with like over 200 Spectre Packs or something and never got one of them.

I've been through maybe 15 Spectre Packs now and still haven't gotten it, so I still have a long way to go (N7 rating approx 50). I do, however, have a Geth Plasma Shotgun VII now.

Edit: I have all the characters including one Resurgence one. I also have the Claymore V and Geth Plasma Shotgun IX, not to mention Carnifex V. I have this random N7 SMG and the new Geth SMG too.

After all of this I finally unlocked a Widow just now! Finally! For those who haven't unlocked what they wanted - there is hope! (just look at how long ago this was made)

Unlocked Black Widow last night. Hard to say how many Spectre packs I've bought in total, but I'd range it to around 120-150.

Lost count ages ago, N7 is up to 609. I still don't have every N7 weapon (No saber no scorp no wraith), but I have a Black Widow III.

i got my widow in maybe my 10th? i was around rank 60 or so rank 150 now and 70 spectre packs and no black widow planning to save 6,000,00 to buy 100 spectre packs which will be about 200 silver game wins i think it will take me a good week or two depending how many matches i do each day

I'm N7 560+ and out of (I'm guessing) close to 100 Spectre packs, I've got two N7 weapons. The Black Widow I, and the Paladin I. That's it. My RNG clearly sucks balls.

I got it early (with my fifth pack, I guess), soon after I changed to non-Sniper classes .

I'm a N7-615 & I only just got teh Widow & I still don't have Quarian engineer (the only char I need) pfft!

Just to put it in perspective: I stopped leveling over a week ago at N7 500+ (due to pointlessness), I bought many hundreds of spectre packs and got my first Black Widow... yesterday.
It might take a lot longer as you think, it's also possible that you get it in your next pack - no way to tell.

I've bought around 40ish spectre packs. I have first rank widow but no BW. I got it around my 5th pack or so I believe. Too bad I suck with it. I have the twitch reflexes of a drunk elcor.

Got my Widow in my, i'd say 50th spectre pack, in the next 30 packs i have gotten 2 upgrades for it, and i still have not seen any spiders.

Well, at least I got Mantis lvl II after reaching N7 100... (I have the widow I, but I can get more shots off with the Mantis 10 I have now)

Now, I'm 150-200 packs in. Widow is at X (as are Carnifex, Geth Plasma, Graal, and others). Black Widow is still at 'I', as are my Paladin and Saber.

No other N7 unlocks, and most of my rares are maxed now. Nine times out of ten, I get character cards in my spectre packs now. For classes with all the appearance options unlocked. That are level 20. It's annoying.

I think it was less than 10 Spectre packs for my Black Widow. But it's fairly random, so it can take a while.

Maybe around my 10-20th pack with a Paladin I. The next containded a vindicator and the phaseton . After then just the usual crappy common stuff. And then yesterday i got the Mattock ))))

Got my black widow on my 6th or 7th spectre pack. Widow a bit later and constantly receiving upgrades (IX right now), while my BW is still at 1.
