Why should we apologize for being responsible consumers? If we don't complain about the things we don't like about a product, they'll assume its fine and keep repeating the problem.

As a disappointed consumer, why should I have to apologize for the mess that EA/BioWare made?

Why should I apologize? All I've done is rip their conclusion to Mass Effect 3 to shreds, which I'm within my rights to, in addition to creating demand for a new ending. When I start attacking Bioware employees, review bombing, etc, then that might warrant an apology.

But as a consumer, I'm not going to say "I'm sorry" because they released a bad product.

Really?

As a consumer who paid for the product I'm very dissappointed. Thge game was suppossed to put an end to the saga, but the endings, poor treatment to my my favorite characters, massive plot holes, day 1 dlc fiasco (no matter what they say, prothy was part of the game at some point, the leaked script made it clear). I wanted to play an epic game, all I got was a massive dissappointment.

I enjoyed ME and ME2. But each time I play ME3 it's like a torture.

I won't say "I'm sorry." They are who have to apologize for giving us an incomplete product.

I couldhave waited until 2013 to have a good expereicne, but they rushed the game, wasted the budget in marketing, wasted more money in multiplayer (Mass Effect never needed multiplayer).

Some people here have said some things they should apologize for. But disliking a commercial product isn't one of those things.

Doesn't really follow, unless you think they decided to make day 1 paid DLC after that script was written. Conceivable but unlikely, since they'd already started to make such DLCs for previous games.

Which doesn't mean you have to like them making paid day 1 DLC, of course.

No. I don't condone personal attacks, but I fail to see why I would apologise for criticising a product I spent my money on.

And for the record, I found the entirety of the game disappointing, not just the endings.

Random so did I. Story Mode and RPG mode were horrible with auto-dialogue, couldn't speak to quest givers, lack of mini-games, lack of exploration... there are so many problems with this game it's not funny. The game falls flat in every single area except the Voice Acting. However the VA suffers from lip syncing problems.

And here we have that old difference-of-opinion thing popping up. Two of the things Heather mentions here are things that I positively liked, and the others I was indifferent to.

Which just proves that fans have different opinions of things. If we didn't, what would be the point of a board like this?

Apologize to them? Why? Because we're criticizing on how unpolished and rushed the game was? The amount of bugs in the game? The "finale" which concludes all your choices chosen in the whole trilogy, but instead we get to choose 3 colors of the explosion? The quick Photoshop of Tali's portrait? The removed content which became a paid DLC? Ignore all these problems and don't care that I wasted $100 on such a promising game?

Uh-huh, right.

I'll 'apologize' when Bioware presents me with the product they promised I would get shortly before launch.

And if they just fix the plot holes.... they'll get some respect but little more.

Just taking a shot in the dark: is it the lack of minigames and exploration? Those were the things I didn't mind.

The only apology Bioware will get is that I didnt scream loudly enough or long enough about DA2, which may have helped them get the message that they were heading into shark infested waters earlier, so they could have looked at their direction before they ruined Mass Effect 3, by trying to make the game in an expansions timescale!

If anything, Bioware should apologize to US.

Don't advertise your game with this and this and that if its not going to have those things in the end of the day.

You do that and you come off like Peter Molyneaux. I'm actually surprised he didn't leave Lionhead to come work for Bioware.

On the topic of breakfast, I missed a great opportunity for blueberry pancakes this morning. I was devastated.

In honor of Bioware, I created the "Bioware Neopolitan Waffle".

On one side is blue raspberry, in the middle is green apple, on the right is strawberry.

It is by no means a parody of anything Bioware's done recently, of that I swear.

Not an appropriate topic of discussion.

End of line.

If Mass Effect 3 was perfect, and only the ending was bad, I might cut Bioware some slack.

But I still can't import my Shepards face, and the game seemed less than what the reviews are giving them.

No. Bioware needs to apologize to us.
