As far as the 360 goes there is a bug in the game that negates Conrad's death in ME1 when you import it into ME2. The only way I am aware to have Conrad die is to start a fresh ME2 game.

Thanks for the info. I only have the PC version so I don't know of any platform specific bugs that would affect this list. Any feedback and information is welcome. Original post updated.

I have finally reached Priority: Cerberus Headquarters, with a total war assets level of 1744, as indicated in the original post. I'm pretty sure this is the worst possible play-through. Please let me know if it isn't.

I believe you can still recruit Javic, just don't access any of the terminals to help the colonists.
I've just finished a low ems playthrough, it was pretty traumatic. It was a nice change to play through without having to chat to everyone and do any planet scanning.
I saved the collector base though because I wanted the destroy ending.

Recruiting Javik will cause you to gain 25 war assets in the form of alliance: Eden Prime Support
But it is as you say Lhawke, I did a speed run with my worst possible playthrough, finishing in a mere 4 hours or so, because I didn't do any side missions.
Also I believe that saving the collector base results in the control ending.

You are right I meant destroyed collector base. I left me2 with just two squad mates, Morinth and an unloyal zaeed so they didn't interfere with plans at all.
I didn't rewrite the heretics so my score wasn't as low.

Hrmm, the math I did said you actually get a lower EMS letting the council live since the impact on alliance assets doesn't make up for the Destiny Ascension anyway or am I missing something?

Saving the council: -75 from the Alliance but Gain The Destiny Ascension for +70, for a total of -5
Killing the council: +25 from Admiral Mikhailovich
Hmm. You're right?! I just assumed that since saving the council got you the most war assets, that killing them would net the worst war assets. I totally forgot that the only reason saving the council nets you more war assets was from saving the Salarian Councilor, which you won't be doing in a worst possible playthrough anyways. I'll update the original post to reflect that! Thanks!
I suppose however, if you want a worst - everyone dies playthrough, that you'd still want them dead, as it's only 30 war assets. That alone isn't enough to bump you up, after all the other crap you've pulled.

I have an almost worst possible playthrough, where I did everything according to the OP, except I killed the council instead. I didn't want to go back to fix that error, so I just went with it. This screenshot is from right before starting the Cerebrus base mission.

I believe if Grunt dies in Mass Effect 2, then if you saved the Breeder, the Arlakah Company war assets will be 0. Also, if Miranda survives, she won't affect any other assets and will die anyway if you don't warn her about Kai Leng.

Actually in the playthrough shown above, I did just that. Grunt died in ME2 and I saved the breeder but the Aralakh Company still had 25 war assets. As for Miranda I believe you are correct, though I prefer for her to Die sooner rather than later anyways.

Something's not right then, I know you gain 25 if Grunt survive the suicide mission and another 25 if you did his loyalty mission and lose 25 if you choose the rachni queen or breeder over Aralakh Company. Aralakh company was 50 in the end of my playthrough.

For some reason after killing wrex in ME3 I still ended up with 225 Krogan Points instead of just the Aralak ones...

Strange, did you make sure to not do the bomb mission, AFTER it became an available side quest? That will remove 100 war assets. Also make sure eve dies. That should remove all but 25 krogan points, if I remember correctly.

I'm starting an ME3 run to get the lowest war assets I can. I thought I'd saved the council but I sacrificed them. But I never played ME1 on this playthrough, just started with ME2 and did the Genesis comic. Hopefully that will let me off the hook for the +25 for Admiral Mikhailovich. I guess we'll see.

I screwed up a little. I kept Thane alive because I liked his fight with Kai Leng, I didn't realize it would keep the Salarian councilor alive and the Task Force. Turns out I got Admiral Mikhailovich after all. Also, I didn't realize you had to *get* the Tuchanka Bomb mission before it will go off, I figured it would anyway. D'oh. Also, I didn't do the Legion loyalty mission in ME2, I skipped it so each of the 3 Quarian fleets didn't get reduced by 50 for rewriting the Heretics. I ended up with 1137 EMS but I guess that's decent. Enough to succeed and still get the worst ending, lol.
