What the hell is it and why would I want to sign up for a myface account?

Bad move for them to put it on Facebook. People like me aren't likely to sign up to Facebook for just that game. Shoulda put it in Flash like DA:J.

My 1 1/2 cents.

Okay, if you don't wnat to sign up for Facebook, then don't sign up for Facebook. I think the game is ridiculously fun, but I was already on Facebook, so it was no big deal for me. Stoopid Mitchell Fujino and his 400 more points than me. :P

Thank you, Mr. Woo.

Had you not stated so, I would have been in a perpetual state of undecisiveness and perplexion.

I do not wish to sign up for Facebook, because it's basically signing away my soul. Is there a way to still play the game?

I'm on FB too but I don't install apps. The reason is that FB gives you the option to decline giving out your personal information when installing an app BUT the kicker is, apps can't be installed if you don't share personal information.

Well, you could always create an 'alt account' solely to play Facebook games. Don't add any more personal information beyond a nickname, and you're good to go. No big fuss about being forced to sign up for Facebook or what not.

I meant no offense by my comment, I was just speaking my mind. (aka my 1 1/2 cents.) To each their own. Image IPB

For some of us, it is.

Any unlocks in the game, or just a time-waster?

Now, a new reason to play. BioWare will be donating a small sum of money for each play of Gift of the Yeti, up to $10,000, to Child's Play. :)

Is it possible to update the game and that we (the gamers) can see how much money we already gift to the Child's
 Play?

I think this is a bad idea. The adblah for this thing talks about how Bioware is on Facebook to 'meaningfully reach out to its fans' (paraphrased). How is anyone reaching out to me in a meaningful manner when they make the go through the hoops of going to another website and signing up for something I have no interest in to participate in the outreach.

I'm sure missing out on this game will not change my life for the worse, I just massively dislike the slant this is being given. Anyone wanting to 'reach out to me in a meaningful manner' probably wouldn't want me to jump through hoops. Looks more like they're reaching out to Facebook in a meaningful manner, which I guess is fine as well, but should be labelled appropriately.

It's a cute little game, although there's not much challenge to it and it becomes a button-mashing frenzy to run around and deliver gifts and escape the police (why would they want to chase after poor Yeti?). Gotta love the graphics though. :)

I'll play for this reason, but I absolutely suck at this game, so I consider it a sacrifice. :P

I won't, thanks for the permission. :P

I don't understand why BioWare would only make it available to Facebook users. It's fun, it's for a good cause, but only people who sign up to a web service that has nothing to do with BioWare get to have access to it?

I know you have no control over this, but why not put this on the BioWare Social Network? It's just the type of thing social sites like this one are made for.

These emotes show how sad I am on a scale from 1-5.

Good cause and I can't register at Facebook and all this teasing.
