So I just beat the game with a SnS Warrior (full champ armor+the shield you get in the chest at your mansion all buffed with armor runes and Meredith went like a sack of potatoes) and another poster recomended resistance runes to me which I'm going to try out, but since I had my incredibly hot butt handed to me on a plate (not somthing I find appealing) by mages I'm going to go with a Templar spec rather then Reaver (like last time) as my main spec. But I was woundering if there is any armor/2h weapons (preferably swords) that boost a Templar's abilities that you can find early in the game for each act (meaning good templar armor for act 1, 2 and 3 not just good armor you find only in act 3) but if it only comes around in act 3 then there is nothing I can do about it but I would still apreciate knowing about it.

Thank you

It would only be +% spirit damage items that would boost your Templar abilities. These can be found in the Gallows by the Magic Item merchant. These are random for the most part and will scale with your level. At early levels they will be cheaper to purchase and carry a 4-5% bonus. As you near the Deep Roads they will end up around 6%.

I would suggest you treat the character as a warrior and focus on finding the best weapon for you depending on the encounter. If you do not take any specific skills for weapons you can stick to Vanguard and Battlemaster and use any weapon you want, 1h or 2h.

my character is already skilled as a 2h, but I was thinking of going to Vanguard again (my SnS was a full Canguard and half protector) for that ability that boosts your damage. I thought that might come in handy against non-mages.
