Why does Bioware avoid nudity in the Mass Effect sequels. The games are clearly for adults and they have relationships at their core and a sex scene if you took the time to devellop the relationship. So why do they avoid the nudity or even partial nudity.
It's not like we are asking for porn but the sex scenes are really bland and boring. In an age where games like Heavy Rain, God of War III, Dante's Inferno, Duke Nukem Forever, Grand Theft Auto IV... contain nudity without stirring any controversy, I don't see why Bioware is afraid of assuming that nudity if part of their adult universe.
What's with the lack of nudity?

Agreed. I don't see what's the matter.
It's not like I am so horny I want to see Mass Effect porn, but something similar to ME1: Just a passionate romance like in usual movies.
The only real romance-scene in ME3 was Liara's. Others were half-assed (Miranda...), or simply laughable (Ashley: in underwear... really? even after waking up?)

Maybe the Garrus scene is good, I didn't see it but the Miranda and Ashley scene is ridiculous, I'd rather they cut the sex scenes than have something so silly that lacks any sensuality.

classical fade to black if sexual content amidst exploding heads and burning enemies is that big an issue. That prudish distinction between graphic violence and nudity never seizes to amaze me.

As if having gay romance didn't stir controversy! I'm surprised no one complained about Heavy Rain, it did push the limits of what is "allowed" in gaming.

Imho it is ridiculous to shower or sleep in "sexy" lingerie.
Better make no scene at all or show only faces.
Edit: It would be ok to shower naked but only see shoulders upwards or sleep in a tshirt, but the one "nude" model for every occasion ruins it somehow.
